Did some searching and couldnt find a thread specifically for 3. This game just got a pc steam release about a week ago and is available on many consoles.

I've been running this game since September of last year. My time is a 27:33(http://www.twitch.tv/verzviper/c/3760814).

I managed to meet about 2-3 other people who run this game but most arent as active as myself. Talked a bit with Uyama as well but he doesnt have plans for MS3 any time soon from when I talked to him last Dec.

Right now my goal is a lower 27. Though I need to continue to play sharp and get good boss RNG everywhere. Mission 5 is always a place to save time.

Awesome! It's nice to see that Metal Slug is starting to get a bit more of a speed running scene.

I found this semi-TAS on youtube that was posted a while ago:


Some of the strats aren't exactly practical because he uses the encrypted ROM, which has a few more skips as well as having manipulated luck on bosses. (Based Rootmars >_<)

Oh yes, ive seen that video before. This game has a lot of segmented runs out there.

I guess something to answer is what is the lowest time for this game. I feel this run has a chance of being the fastest and legit one.
