metal gear (msx) on metal gear solid 3 persistence (ps2)?!

I know there were post for metal gear on msx here but I was unable to find one for metal gear on metal gear solid 3 persistence so apologies if there is since I'm new here.
so would it be acceptable for speed run of mg or mg2ss on mgs3p?

Yes, I'm pretty sure it's acceptable to run the old Metal Gears from the MGS3 Persistence disk. I see no reason why it should not.

On that note, have you also considered running them from off the MGS3 HD collection ?

Older games included as bonuses in newer games are acceptable to run, as it is considered official emulation.

I played them on the HD Collection. allow me to give an unsatisfying "seemed fine to me" layman's recommendation for the emulation quality, minus ~30ms input lag from my plasma

Intruding N313 and F014

The one drawback to using this version is that the glitches from the original version (msx menu glitch to item duplicate and also disable electric floors, and the escape ladder glitch, which saves a very small amount of time ) are not available, which means that the run will be slower. I was hoping to run the original MSX version, but I don't know if I will ever get an MSX.

I actually have a working MSX. Was this an MSX 1 or MSX 2 game?
Pretty sure the cart is way too expensive anyway.. like 95% of all MSX games

It is not possible to get no alerts, since an alert is forced on the rooftop of building 2 and the entrance of building 3.

I was looking for a Japanese MSX in order to use the better version, and I think it is also a bit cheaper.
