Mega Man: The Power Battle links broken

Radix, I appreciate all your hard work for posting these speed demo files. It's been my entertainment for almost a year now.

I just tried to download the "Mega Man: The Power Battle" files you had posted recently. Since the Archive site modifications are apparently complete (you had removed the notice about your server, if my knowledge is correct), the links you have posted are apparently broken. If you could post new links or otherwise correct the problem, my little brothers and I would appreciate it (my six-year old and nine-year old lil' bros. have a keen interest in anything-Mega Man related).

Again, appreciate your hard work and am spreading the word. My college roommate appreciates the hard work of all "speed gamers" out there, as is evident by his collection of the "Resident Evil" demos.

Works for me ... are you using a link you saved from this morning? You'll need to check demo.pl again, the link should be http://ia300106.us.archive.org/3/items/MegaManPowerBattle_mm12_21940/MegaManPowerBattle_mm12_21940.avi now.

Curious. I don't have a particular link or even bookmark saved from this morning (or perhaps I didn't understand your remarks properly).

I'll just tell you straight: right-clicking on the link to download the file ("Save Target As") only elicits a "file not found at this address." I'm not sure why it works for you and perhaps not for me...or even others.

I'll be waiting patiently. You can fix this at your leisure; I'm in no hurry.

Never the mind...I just went to the MM: TPB main page for the files and the links are up and running.

Could've been a DNS problem ... the *.us.archive.org hosts like to randomly fail to resolve to IP addresses for like 5 minutes a day. I've tried complaining to the person responsible but haven't gotten a response.

Visually Appealing

I've got a problem with the high quality versions of these runs. the video runs slower than the music.

i've tried everything i could think of. virus scan, spyware scan, defragmentation, re-downloading them, Windows update, futsing around with media player settings, but no dice.

I noticed that these runs' resolution is 640x480, while every other run is half that. is that the problem? if it is, how do I solve it?

is there a codec I'm missing? can I get a link to it then?

Your computer is probably too slow. I can barely play the normal quality with my 6 year old 450 mhz ... the HQ files probably require 2+ Ghz.

Yeah, due to my weak computer, I only download Low Quality; Normal or High runs too slow.
