No, I meant something like Ladder Boost (whatever it's called ), Laser beam, etc. but because of MBB, I"m assuming you didn't buy the ladder boost.
Yeah, Ladder Boost is rendered useless because of MBB which you can do up ladders to save time*. Laser didn't seem to be more powerful against enemies like I hoped so it didn't get used. Same with the Arrow Shot.
*Note: In my third version (whenever it happens) I will hope to do some MBB up more ladders than I do in this current run.
excellent run. only real bad places were wily 1 boss and the mega ballocks in wily 3. i'll not spoil the big surprise for people who aren't as fortunate as i. suffice to say you've improved markedly since your last submission. i especially enjoyed the weapon choices for final boss part 1.

Danke! Yeah, those two parts made me angry hence why I will do this run again. And thanks for not ruining the surprise.
Since I noticed this was still pretty far up, I thought I'd put in two more thoughts.
First off, what the heck is the idea suggesting Laser Shot is required for Green Devil? I argue that Thunder Claw is by far the better option - expose the core and then zap him. Unless Laser Shot is for exposing the core itself....
Second, have you considered the 'Astro Crush Hang Glide' technique? It's only really useful in the Wily jetboard section, but here's how it goes. If you do an Astro Crush in midair while the screen is scrolling, you will freeze in place for the whole Astro Crush while the screen continues to scroll. This means some SERIOUS hangtime, and if you can figure out the pattern of the last section of the Wily jetboard area you can just hang glide through the whole thing with Astro Crush.
Man, if ONLY I knew that trick before, I'd be spared much frustration.
nah, it's not what it looks like (sorry, ifrit). it may be on dvd now, but that doesn't mean it's really a significant amount closer to being encoded. actually, everything that has been submitted and has arrived here is on dvd now. it's just a matter of figuring out wtf i'm going to use for quantizer settings, especially in divx, where the values seem to produce wildly different results, even if the two sources in question (in this case ico and banjo-tooie) are both d4 f2.
Should be a matter of time, then. Anyway, Command Mission should also be available to all soon, too. That's just something worth waiting for, I suppose.
