Please refer to the Verification Guidelines before posting. Verifications are due by April 11, 2014.

Please post your opinions about the run and be certain to conclude your post with a verdict (Accept/Reject). This is not a contest where the majority wins - I will judge each verification on its content. Please keep your verification brief unless you have a good reason otherwise.

After 2 weeks I will read all of the verifications and move this thread to the main verification board and post my verdict.
There are quite a few missed opportunities throughout (most of it is good though), but the game also looks like it controls really poorly, so I guess some of it can be excused. None of the time losses seems major (>2-3 seconds) so the only thing I'm questioning is how things start to add up after a while. The game itself doesn't look very complex to run, so my guess is that a bit more tenacity could bring the time down further. However, as things stands, I recommend a

weak accept
A/V is pretty dreadfull, but SDA accepts this. (They know my opinion on GB footage)

I didn't see that many mistakes part from a single missed jump and some missed shots, which look really hard to time/aim.
The rest of the run looks fairly impressive considering the weird physics.

Please redo your comments though, they're absolutely riddled with errors.

Hi, I'm the runner of this game. As you probably can tell, the controls in this game are horrible, but unless you've played the game you can't fully understand how hard it is to control Maui. I know that the run has it's flaws, but given how awfully the game performs, I don't think the run is that bad.

@bangera: About the comments, do you mean that there's a lot of errors regarding the plot of the game, or spelling errors? Sure, there might be a couple of misspelled words here and there, but the last time I looked at it, it didn't seem to be that bad.

Proof read it, there are a LOT of spelling and grammatical errors. These are the comments that will be put on the gamepage if it gets accepted, so try to clean it up a little. You can easily re-upload your comments file on your personal game thingy.

I'm even willing to correct it if you want.
Well, english is not my main language so ofc there's going to be some parts that are wrong here and there. I read through it again and there were some parts that could easily be fixed, so I'll look into that. But in my defence I have to say that it's not like it's hard to understand it. You make it sound like it was unreadable but I've seen way worse.
Just trying to help... I know I wouldn't want my comments to have any errors in them when they're released publicly.
I don't mind anyone poiting out some spelling errors in my comments. In fact, I thought it was nice that someone at least read them. All I'm saying is that you could have used a more friendly tone, rather than saying that you have "Proof that there are a LOT of spelling and grammatical errors".
But enough of that now. If anyone else want's to comment on the run, feel free to do so.
Decision posted.
Waiting hurts my soul...
What platform is this done on?
This is the Gameboy version of the game, and I played it on a SFC using the Super Gameboy 2 add-on.
Waiting hurts my soul...
thanks
