I know there's not a lot of support for this game, but I was wondering if anyone else plans to speedrun this?

Not the hardest game, probably not the easiest either. I've recently ran this game with a decent time (imho at least,) '[18:26:36]

Was wondering where would I go to submit a run with games that have no official WR? Or any support whatsoever? I thought SDA would be the place to start, if anyone could lead me in the right direction for this.

also specs on my run:
1 star difficulty
no auto handicap
no dynamic view / mode
Easy mode with Normal (No Turbo)
Use the "PSX" emulator (completely unsure if it's legal)

Personally I don't find the start difficulties to really matter, so I like to think one star counts as "easy mode" for the run (though I'm not the one to make this official, just looking for input on it.)

No auto handicap because it doesn't really do anything, dynamic view / mode being optional. Easy Mode, simply because beginner is a very bad option to play the game at. Normal without Turbo because it makes the game more realistic.

IDK what WOULD classify as a run for this game? And would my run count even though I used the PSX emulator?

Any advice / helpful input is highly appreciated. I'm a newbie runner so anything is helpful at the point! ^^

Also forgot, this is my run (sorry for 240p quality and swearing, game is a bit frustrating honestly.)

Thanks in Advance,
Chemich

If you wanted to submit this they probably wont accept it because of the use of an emulator

also it may be better to run the dreacast version since its practically arcade perfect and runs faster/smoother. also does this run use guard breaks on tag in?

I believe there is a use of a tag in feature, although it's not an actual character switch but just some free damage.

As for guard break, there really isn't a guard break feature in this game to my knowledge (i've only just started playing + running this again.)

But if PSX is an illegal emulator I'd like to know.

I'd try the dreamcast version if only I knew how the dreamcast emulator worked, however if MAME is okay (and if there is a rom via MAME) I'll use that instead if required.
Chemich, using whatever emulator is prohibited at SDA

Virtualization: We will not accept speedruns recorded on emulators (ZSNES, VBA, DOSBox, etc.) or other virtualization software (Wine, VMware, etc.). Emulators commonly allow for recording games frame-by-frame and then playing back the input at normal speed. Also, most emulators and virtualization programs have minor inaccuracies in timing and slowdown that prevent accurate comparisons between runs. Finally, it is illegal in most countries to obtain ROMs. Note that an exception is made for officially sanctioned emulators such as the Game Boy Player for GameCube, Virtual Console, or GameTap. Due to problems with some official emulators, however, runs on those emulators may be considered a separate category.

Alright, ty for the information.
fast video games
there is an unintended guard break feature on tag ins. characters can attack a tagged in enemy ad break their guard on entry. this however only works on arcade/dreamcast
