I agree. Those are some great levels. My favorite's  Mushroom Ridge for some reason. It makes the Mushroom Kingdom feel like a real place, with people and locations. Is this course available online?

I think you mean Shroom Ridge. If that is what you mean, then no. Its not online. Here is a list of what is on it though:

Damn. Oh, well, at least Mario Circuit and DK Pass are there. I enjoyed those two as well.

I guess I will not enjoy playing you then. Just kidding. Im alright on those courses. I seem to do horrible on Mario Circuit though. I enjoy Desert Hills, Delfino Square, and Moo Moo Farm. One time I was playing, we forced Moo Moo Farm for each of the 4 courses in the match. I guess it was the All Moo Moo Tour.

EDIT: If you really want an advantage, pick Baby Park. I always get screwed on that level somehow.
I do have to disagree with a few choices on terms of the Retro Cup.  Baby Park shouldn't have been used since... well... it's not that great a stage.  I don't mind simple track layouts, mind you.  I love Luigi's Circuit, Figure 8, and that kind of thing.  But C'mon.  Wario's Colliseum, Bowser's Castle or DK Mountain would be great for the GC retro cups,  Royal Raceway is a must for the N64 collection- BE GONE CHOCO MOUNTAIN!

150CC is actually brutal... much more difficult  than the prior two installments.  But I'm almost done unlocking everything..

I totally agree with you on the Retro Cup choices. There are much better choices out there. Choco Mountain is good (I think) but they should not have put Frappe Snowland in. Hate that level altogether.

I didn't find 150 cc to be hard. Although getting Triple Star is really boring.
*Insert witty comment here*
i don't think i'll have the patience to try to triple star everything. i've gotten at least 1 star on all the grand prix (including mirror) and have triple starred all the missions except 2 (6 power slides with princess on rainbow road and race against wiggler) which i have gotten double stars (does triple starring all the missions do anything?)

royal raceway would have been a good retro cup. i can't stand the snow stages cause it makes it a lot harder to power slide in the right direction (a problem i didn't have with frappe snowland on n64).

about the hack that let's you play all the courses on WiFi, is there a site that goes into detail on that?

As far as I know, Triple Star in all the Missions does nothing but give you satisfaction for doing it.

EDIT: Wikipedia has some info on the hack. Go to the forum Wikipedia links to and head to the 6th page.

I'd kill for a nobel peace prize...
I've just recently ordered my GBA Flash Cart to start getting some of the cool apps and games they have on the homebrew scene.

If I can manage to get the online tracks hack working sometime when it comes I'd be happy to "host" some Banshee Boardwalk or Tick Tock Clock races with you all.
Thats cool. Hopefully it goes through the random selection when choosing tracks.

As I said before I'll be happy to try and host some games. If anyone is interested my friend code is

Just tell me you added me so I can add you to my list and get a game going. I'll take any requests assuming of course the server vote chooses my track.

Awesome.

Im curious as to how it was done. Could you try and explaing it?

(Stupid question: If I play you online, will it mess up my game? I am just wondering.)

Nope I'm pretty sure It wont mess up your game.

I've been reading several forums of people who played offline track hackers and noone I can remember (except for people on the N-Sider forums, but They arent the most reliable of people) had experienced any game corruption.

There are some inaccessible courses that were never completed in the game code. Like the GCN Mario Circuit is apparently there in its entirety but tis un-textured. If someone were to try and play this with you (a person who doesnt have it enabled) I hearit could crash your game but I don't know of any concenquences.

I dont know how to do that so its nothing to worry about.

As for HOW I'll eplain in a little or send you a PM

In short.... Its safe and I'm only offline course hacking nothing else.

I am looking for someone to play with 1v1 to help me test how each one works though., if anyone is interested

I haven't heard anything either about game corruption due to others hacking and playing them. Im just wanting to make sure before I play someone who has done it.

Well I'm snowed in today and there isnt much to do. If anyone wants to get a few races going today we should set something up.

It'd be cool to have a kind of tournament between players here. Although it would be difficult to set up it could be fun.

I had my DS replaced (it got 'sploded) so I can start racing. If you've already registered me, you need to do it again, because of my new DS.

I don't go online often, but if someone wants a race just ask. Let me know if you've added me.
This is news to me but not sure about anyone else who is playing the game. If you want to connect to players faster, hold R while selecting OK after connecting to WiFi. It will go to the second screen instead of sitting through the first one.
