Nice job Ark! Not only does that mean I have to tell you I updated the schedule on the spreadsheet, but it also means any last minute changes to the schedule should be quick and easily noticeable.
oh yeah you'll have to let me know when you add the prizes column (if you do that) because i'll have to change some stuff in the code to accomodate it. beyond that, as long as the layout of the spreadsheet doesn't change it should be good to go.
wrote a cron job to auto-download the google spreadsheet every 5 minutes. that way there will be no delay when loading the schedule page, but of course any changes made to the spreadsheet will take 5 minutes to go live. can always decrease this time if necessary during the marathon.
logos should be coming soon, then the page will be ready for yall to link to as many people as possible.
If you're going to use the banner(s) from the other thread you could have them rotate each time the page gets loaded similar to the screen shots on game pages.
Actually good point, but -- Did any Quake guys KNOW / RESPOND / PLAN ON COMING to the marathon? I don't remember if we even discussed this... I'm sure it was, right guys???
I think the starting times at the schedule should be a bit more accurate. As it is now they have a fault of +- 12 hours and I feel that's a tad bit too high.
If you didn't get it, this was my way of asking to include the time zone on the schedule page
good idea. it was already specified on the main marathon page but i've also added it to the schedule page. there's no reason to actually put est beside every time on the schedule.
