Just updated the post on page 3 with links to all of my pieces thus far, which now includes the low-def versions of the Cave Story Sprites, as well as Super Sonic! (because I'm told updating with pics of each new piece is annoying >_>)

EDIT: now with Cave Story Low-Def, Robo, Starman, Samus, Simon, and Dark Knight Cecil!

I'm using dark grey instead of silver, and maroon instead of dark red/rust, but yeah, it's his design. I'm including that on the little card it's going to come with.

I was thinking of business-like-cards, with:

Name of Piece
Game/System
Bead Count (Maybe?)
Assembled by Aitamen (Date?)
(and here's where I'd put the part about Doctoroc's blueprint, any sprite changes, any other work done for the piece, etc.)

Double Post again, but with content and thanks:

First off, I want to thank everyone who's supported my work here, either by commissions or comments. From the exposure I've earned here, and from pieces commissioned, I've had several people order personal pieces, and from the money earned in doing so I was able to buy a decent camera, so I can take not-yellow pictures of my works!

Now for the content:

Marle and Magus are complete now: Hi, I'm a link!
which means that the whole CT player cast is now complete: So am I!
a couple things are a little off... Crono's green (in his shirt) is a lot lighter than it is in his sprite, but I personally think it still looks good. If people think I should redo it, I'd more than happily redo it and send this overly-green Crono to my friend as an x-mas gift
Also, for fun, since I had the whole crew up: yay!
(this actually shows why there was nothing in the middle in the above shot: you can see through the holes in Gato, and it's a little less appealing... until I get lights to properly light the scene, this is what I have to work with~)

Also, I've done all the pre-processing work for the rest of the pieces, and they'll be along in short order.

Idea for prizes: games on steam. Thanks to the sales on steam i think we can cheaply get games and then gift them to prize winners at the marathon...

I figure this SHOULD work as well... most viewers have access to computers and steam is good about that stuff...

Seems kind of soon for another, but progress has picked up speed recently. Two more:

~~Yes, I know Alia is not in any of the games being played for the marathon.~~ The X Collection picture still seemed like a great way to lump in X, X2, and X4 though.

Looking at this schedule print-out, I guess it would be reasonable to expect at least six more. These would likely be (in some order): Metroid Prime, Ocarina of Time, Kingdom Hearts 2, Final Fantasy IV, Bayonetta, and Chrono Trigger. Keep in mind that I'm not that great at judging popularity, so I might have missed something (other than Mario and Donkey Kong, obviously). If I did, let me know.

Status update:

Alright, everything is going to be done by the marathon, as far as I can tell, but because I apparently fail at counting, a handful of stuff is only going to be there in picture form, because of shipping and other time constraints. This'll also save me some money, so I'm still at budget, and not over.

Might as well do a status update for prizes myself.

BTW, I think I still have about 5-10 pictures from last year that will be relevant to this marathon. I'll probably throw them in. If you're wondering why I still have them, it's because those people never responded to my email. :X Or in the case of one guy, he said I should give it to someone else, but he didn't respond until April or some other time that was crazy late.
