DKC's glitch is the jumproll, and the DKC2 level you're thinking of is Parrot Chute Panic (which was even better than last year's, iirc!)

Catching the Ivysaur in Pokemon Yellow is a great one. "This is actually as hard as catching Mewtwo!"

Hahaha.  Yea, my entire run was a giant blooper.  Smiley

There are a ton of highlights that could be nominated, but the biggest one that comes to mind atm is kareshi's SGnG finish.  On loop 2, level 6, kareshi dies at the boss with the Goddess Bracelet.  He then proceeds to beat the hardest level in the game by somehow pulling a dagger from the chest, getting through the beginning of the level unscathed, pulling gold armor from the chest just in time to kill the red arremer during his swoop with a magic dragon, getting the goddess bracelet, getting hit on the way to the boss, and then proceeding to kill him when the weapon is at its weakest, time is low, and he is one hit from death.  I was literally holding my breath during the entire level.  Maybe the most impressive comeback I saw while awake at the marathon.

TMNT4 (before game started) - Stanski's $100 Donatello throwdown

My jump-to-middle-platform single-cycle Ganondorf fight in the OoT race was pretty sweet, no one else attempted it. Pretty hard, especially under pressure.

It's a highlight because Super Tyrant pushes him into PERFECT position to grab and use the rocket launcher.  It's as if to say, "KILL ME!"

I'll be able to remember/add a lot more to this list when the videos are posted, but a few I can think of right now that haven't been mentioned:

Highlights:
SDA defeated cancer!
Despite a lot of sloppy play elsewhere in the run, my run through of Flipsville's first star in SMG2 went extremely well and had a ton of difficult sequence breaks in it. I can probably find a few other highlights after reviewing the whole run, but I remember feeling really proud of that one in particular well after the run was over.

Tri-hex missing the early piranha plant boss kill
There's a couple deaths in my SMG2 run that were more than just sloppiness, but actually quite random. I'll have to review the video, but a specific one I remember is somehow missing the teleporter beam during one of the Bowser stages.
Completing Lava Lair Speed Run with less than one second remaining was...something. Not sure if I'd call it a blooper or a highlight Tongue

Blooper: PJ sportingly performs the level 9 glitch to allow me back into the Pianotoads race. I, being a similarly sporting fellow, respond by saying to myself "capital, old chap, but no need to pity me, tup tup!" and promptly die to give him back his sizable lead. Smiley

In the same level, the rubber duck would just NOT DIE. You can probably watch me look over incredulously as my giant punches repeatedly miss the duck and I die. Then it happens AGAIN, but I somehow get out of it.

Totally forgot about Sonic 2 - that run was full of awesome highlights (especially doing the Metro 3 glitch three times in a row), as well as quite a few bloopers. And there definitely needs to be recognition of all the times Mercury hit the end-stage prison before Stanski - again, not sure if this counts as a highlight or blooper Tongue
