My feelings on The Demon Rush

Oh hey, could we add tvs as part of the equipment? The 4-H Center wants to know how many TVs we'll need, and I'm thinking around 10-15, but I'm not sure, especially if we don't know how many tvs everyone else is bringing. I can bring at least two tvs.

I will be bringing my TV also. ~24". It's technically an HD TV, but I don't notice any lag when I play on it.

Oh yeah, my tvs are both not hd. And actually, I can bring a third one too. I forgot I had two small tvs that are so old they only have mono sound.

I forgot to mention that I have a grabster usb capture device that I can bring. It's the same device I use for streaming, so it should be good. I guess I can bring my easycrap (stupid easycap imitation) in too, since that seemed to work okay last time.

I didn't realize controllers were separate. :X I will bring 2 GameCube controllers, and can bring a GBA with a GC->GBA cable if needed.

Whoops, guess I forgot to say that I'm bringing my copy of Dr. Mario 64. I'll also bring my PSP (3000) that I'm getting for Christmas, so it can be a backup. I noticed that you crossed my PS2 memory card off the list - I'm still bringing it, but now it'll be for Lego Star Wars II (so we can activate the extras for donations) instead of FFX.

Judging from how few controllers we have so far I'd say you weren't the first one to miss that MZ Tongue

Also I have no idea how many GBA's we need atm so added you for one definite for now.

Added your stuff Essentia. I actually crossed that memory card only a few hours ago when I realized I had missed taking it out (since it was in a "definitely need" list). Added a new entry for the star wars save Smiley

Even though we're doing a 3 player GBA race, I don't need and am not going to use a GBA for a controller. PS2 -> GCN controller adapter for me, thank you very much!

About controllers, I'm pretty sure most people are going to bring their own controllers, but here goes anyway.

-I have at least 2 genesis 6-button controllers, and one 3-button.
-I have a wired gamecube controller and 3 wavebirds. I also have a hori controller for gba play
-I have 4 xbox 360 controllers, and one fightpad (I'm going to bring at least the wired controller and fightpad)
-I have 2 or 3 snes controllers I can bring (need to test one), and one of them is with romscout right now (he'll bring it for the marathon)
-I have 2 or 3 ps2 controllers and 2 or 3 logitech wireless action pads (I got some on discount)..

So yeah, I think that covers a lot. Tongue

I'll be bringing a SNES->GCN converter too, if anybody prefers to use that controller for a gameboy game instead of one of the alternatives.

Games:

Cave Story is PC and Nitrodon has it. If for some reason he doesn't bring his laptop, someone else can download it because it's a free game.

On top of Final Fantasy IV Japanese version, I also have the US version. Rane has it too. Tri-Hex has Yoshi's Island, and I have two copies of it (don't ask).

I have Altered Beast. Come on, I know you saw me and stanski stream, moooh. Tongue

If Carcinogen brings his PS3, then RE1-3 should be covered, AFAIK. I'm pretty sure he has the ps1 disc versions too.

Josh can bring Castlevania 1, 3, and 4.

I have Sly Cooper, and AFAIK, Ani wants me to bring my copy for the marathon. I'll ask Cody Miller about MGS2. I'm pretty sure he can just bring his own copy.

Pandora Tomorrow is the Xbox version, and Molotov is bringing both the game and his Xbox.

In terms of other equipment, I have two powered splitters (radioshack brand). A ps2/xbox/xbox 360/snes/n64/gamecube composite/s-video cable, and I have a bunch of composite and s-video cables. I know I have at least 3 or 4 s-video, and I have no idea how many composite.

Just because I know someone has a game does not mean I'm assuming they are also going to bring said game, for all I know their cart/disc might have recently broke or something Tongue

Seeing as there have been several cases where a runner and owner of a game won't be bringing said game I'm going to keep this a list of what people will definitely bring.
I will soon start messaging those runners who are running games which have items unaccounted for to check and make sure they will be bringing em.

I am bringing Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! and Punch-Out!! feat. Mr. Dream as a backup. I am probably also bringing an NES controller as I remember not feeling comfortable with the one I had to use last year.
