Any% Route Any input on this would be great. The biggest problem is it cuts it really close at the end with only 1:30 left on the clock when I entered the clock tower. I didn't count any rupees from grass, and I ended up getting a lot more than I expected. I might try to fit in buying a deku stick or two to make Gomess/Majora easier, but I'm not sure.
Jiano, for the any% route: 1. I suggest we wrong warp to Woodfall before we go get Goron Mask. This way we save a trip back across the Goron Village and the frozen lake by SoS. 2. If we are doing Lullaby Skip, we should skip Goron Mask. And is anyone even able to do Lullaby Skip unassisted? If we can, we should just WW from Woodfall to Snowhead instead of climbing up Mountain Village. 3. We could be a**holes and create 7-8 6 second segments to collect the 1 Deku Stick at the Woodfall entrance. 4. Maybe we could complete Stone Tower as the first Temple since the Blue Bubbles drop 50R when hit with a Light Arrow. Since we go through that area 2 times, we can get 200R.

This is an interesting idea. The only problem I see is it adds 15 explosives early in the run where rupees are harder to come by. I'll have to change the route around a lot and see if it can work.

Goron Mask Skip doesn't save any time unless you're doing constant HESS's throughout the run. The WW to snowhead is pointless if you have the mountain village owl.

I guess it's possible if you wanted to.

Rupees aren't really a problem, I did a test run and had 70-80 rupees extra at the end of the run(from random grass and such). Also could do the Zora pots game again for more.

The WW to Snowhead is so we won't have to travel around the mountain at all, thus no owl statue there to fly to. No Goron Mask would save a lot of time just because of the time it takes to get the darn thing in the first place. Very few places would use the Goron Mask if we just SS everywhere, the only problem I foresee is traveling through the woods of mystery w/o it, but that would only cost us 15 seconds. Plus we would be pausing several times in the run to equip it if we obtained it. This is of course only if we are able to Lullaby Skip.

Without Goron Mask Snowhead takes even more explosives, and is even more difficult. The WW is an option but it also makes the segment much more difficult since you have to hit a ISG extremely fast once you exit the cave. I mean if someone is insane enough to try the run without Goron Mask, they can feel free, but the Snowhead segment is already hard enough as it is.
Jiano, the only reason I am bringing up the Goron Mask at all is because you didn't include getting the lullaby in your Segmented Route. This is odd because we get the Goron Mask but no Lullaby; which seems pointless to do if we get the mask in the first place.
And when I said we should WW to Snowhead, we could just let the wind blow us off, then spawn right next to the owl statue. This makes the assent to Snowhead the beginning of a new segment. No one, to my knowledge, is able to pull off the ISG when exiting that tunnel. This would make the segment harder as mentioned, but even if we have a crappy Snowhead segment, it would still make up for the time it takes to get the GM and the lullaby in the first place. Whether we can even skip the Lullaby unassisted is still debatable unless someone creates a video showing a feasible method of doing so.

The WW to snowhead only saves a little more than a minute, and despite what MrGrunz says about the ISG, it's still much harder than the normal method(the lag on 64 makes it really hard to time). The lullaby takes about ~6 minutes to get, and the lullaby skip takes about ~4 minutes to do. That's 2 minutes saved at least.
Skipping the Goron Mask isn't feasible on console yet, the required extra bomb hovers in snowhead cost a lot of time. Unless you want to megaflip to the boss door, but good luck pulling that off near the end of the segment. Also after killing Goht, I guess you could superslide to the cut scene, but again that's at the end of a ridiculously hard segment. We use Goron Mask a lot more than you seem to realize.
Also, when thinking about wrong warping to woodfall. Wrong warp takes about a minute to do, and going back across the goron village to get the Goron Mask takes about a minute as well. I don't think it's worth it since it takes 15 explosives to do.
With a little practice, I was able to pull off ISG after the Fairy WW. I can do it about 20% of the time, but it is going to make the segment a pain. Even unassisted it is still feasible and will save a lot of time. Afterwards, I use 1 SS around the first corner, then an ISS to head to the upwards spiral. Once on the spiral part, it is easy. I actually don't think Snowhead will be that difficult, but the temple will definately be slower than my game time run. I can WW from Woodfall to Snowhead and climb up the path in less than 5 minutes. Woohoo! I'll try to upload a video soon.
And Jiano, you didn't factor in the time it takes to get the Goron Mask itself. It took me 3 minutes alone to just climb up the grave, watch the cutscene, and get out of the grave. Add another 2 minutes to travel from NCT to the Mountain Village, 2 more to LoT, another 1.5 to travel back to the owl statue, then the 5 you said to get the Lullaby, then another 1.5 minutes to travel across the path to the Snowhead Owl Statue. That's approx 15 minutes.
And where would getting the Lullaby fit into your route? When you get the Goron Mask, you don't have a bottle, which means we don't have the Hot Water to unfreeze the elder. We would have to either climb back up to the grave, glitch into the hot spring by the bridges, or have a bottle when we go to the grave the first time; even more time to add still.
I apologize if I am forgetting something, but I honestly think that LS is definately worth the effort.

Edit: I take back what I said, the WW method isn't as hard as I first thought. I'm going to mess around with it some more. How hard was the ESS to get to the ramp? If it took you 5 minutes then that is a lot slower than hovering up.
Edit again: On emulator I can do the ISG a lot, but I'm having no luck with it on console. I think with practice though it won't be that bad. I'll probably put it into the route.
It cuts out Mountain Village -> Snowhead which is about 45 seconds. Getting over to the Fairy Cave entrance which is about 2 minutes. Minus the time doing Woodfall -> Snowhead which is about 1:10. It saves about 1:35, which makes it worth the trouble.

Getting the lullaby won't fit into the route because it's going to be skipped. Getting the Goron Mask takes about 7 minutes, going by Grunz run. I think the Snowhead segment is hard enough with the Goron Mask, doing it without seems ridiculous.
Yet another Edit: Was talking with Grunz about the route, and he's going to help make a new one. It's going to skip the Goron Mask.

Have you considered running the VC-version? It would probably reduce lag here and thus make activating the ISG easier and the overall less lag would be nice for the viewers.
Hey guys sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but there is yet another Youtube User that is stealing speedruns and editing them and claiming that they are done by this "zelda101master" http://www.youtube.com/user/ZeldaGamesRock He is currently uploading Dragorn's MM 100%. Do you guys think I should send him a PM to remove them? Or tell youtube to take them down?

bring down the motherfucker.
thieves deserve to be ridiculed until the day they die.
This is my idea of ascending Snowhead without the Lullaby. This uses only 7 explosives (excluding the wrong warp) as compared to Jiano's 15 in his method. It is also about 15 seconds faster (if I don't screw up) and I was also talking too so I didn't go as fast as I should have. Snowhead without Lullaby
I've sent him a PM and he said that zelda101master had already asked for permission to post them. Well I don't believe because Zelda101Master had posted several runs. But even if he did, he didn't credit the authors properly.

So are you only going to have 3 bombchus left for the entirety of Snowhead? And make it the hardest segment?
bomb hovers are easy, so wasting bombchus at this part is definately not the problem
snowhead temple itself is actually not a hard temple to speed run. there are several things, you can easily mess up, but if you play carefully, this shouldn't be a huge problem. you'll loose some seconds, but that should be ok for such a hard segment. main problem will be the goht fight in the end. beating him with arrows is very risky and the chance not to get hit isn't the biggest, but you'll have to live with this
all I can say is, that majora's mask became from a easy game to speed run to an ultra hard one with all the new tricks, that are mostly TAS only
So are you only going to have 3 bombchus left for the entirety of Snowhead? And make it the hardest segment?
No, I was lazy when making this video and so I didn't bother refilling my bombchus. I should have about 6chus when entering Snowhead. I only need about 10 explosives to climb the entire temple.
And I have another predicament: Should we go to Pirate Fortress first for the Hookshot and watch that cutscene, or should we go to Woodfall and complete the temple and watch the Deku Princess cutscene? Since we can are able to beat Great Bay Temple w/o arrows, I say we go there first. This way we have the hookshot for Woodfall, and don't have to watch the Woodfall cutscene. The Woodfall cutscene lasts about 1:09 and the Hookshot cutscene is about 1:01.
I was continuing the new file of MM I started the other day today and I discovered 2 odd glitches. The first was annoying. I had the gilded sword for awhile but just realized that it had the kokiri sword icon... I was wondering why it was so weak earlier, so that explained that. But Link was definately holding the gilded sword and the pause menu said I had the right sword. Also, the white line was smaller when I swung and the charge glow and spin were smaller when I charged it. This was fixed when I redid ALL the steps to getting the gilded sword, it was annoying.
The second glitch was pretty cool. I was bomb hovering in East Clock, starting from the high place in the middle of the milk bar and eastern gate, towards the bell. I hovered over the bell. After a third bomb hit the bell, it went really fast and hit me just right, sending me over the wall. I reappeared in South Clock town. I wish I had a recording device because it looked really cool and hard to replicate.
Idk about those glitch, but I discovered this one. click this Before I used the bottle duplication trick, I already had max number of deku nuts at 20. I needed to collect 1 nut so the bottle would become deku nuts again. When I did this though, I obtained 30, and went above the max I should be able to have. However, after using them, they instantly went back to 20. This might be useful if we could somehow keep the number consistent.
