This game was released yesterday. Took me a bit over 8 hours to complete, but I wouldn't be surprised if any% could break 1.5.
The boss fights are really tough and are the source of most of the RNG, it seems. You can ignore almost every enemy in the game unless you have to kill them to open a gate, or if farming for gold to purchase an item becomes a necessary part of a run. You can use gold for mini-games and using a teleport system, so there may be a little farming needed, but it shouldn't be much.
As for what would constitute 100%, full exploration, all equips, and all experience orbs would probably be necessary. After finishing the game, you are told your percentage of exploration and items collected along with the time of completion (not sure how accurate the time is).
Approaching a camp fire saves the game and sets your respawn point. If you die, you keep all progress between the last save and your death, so save warping is a viable option. You only lose some gold when this happens. Also, when you have an item, you can have it equipped on more than one character at the same time (intended).
Anyway, I might work on this game sometime in the future. Figured I'd start a topic for now.
