Lunar 2: Eternal Blue (PSX)

Making huge progress on disc 1 so far, got a 3:42:44 already. I'm using emulator until I can buy a capture card next month so I'm experiencing a lot of lag. With faster loads from console and no lag I could see disc 1 coming closer to 3:30. This puts the estimate for this game at 9 hours, maybe less. Almost done routing disc 2, only got Mauri and Goddess tower left. Then work on Zophar and I'll be ready to stream full runs in the next couple weeks. I'd like to get the capture card before full games but will see.

Finished my first disc 2 and 3 speedrun tonight and I guess I did alright. Had a 5:59:45 combined for both discs. That puts my total time currently at 9:41, but there is a lot of room for improvement. Lost at least 30 minutes to deaths and first time stuff. I expect this game to be finished in under 9 hours easy. Will look to clean a few things up and possible do a full game run in a week or so.

Tbh, I didn't think this game would get to be sub 10. I'm excited to see full game runs of this. Keep up the good work! Cheesy

Completed my first full run tonight in 9:26:32. Good time but a lot of room for improvement. Lost 40 minutes to bad Chiro RNG and encounter luck. Can easily get 8:45, maybe even 8:30.

I love YaBB 1G - SP1!

This is awesome and I look forward to seeing you progress even more. The Lunar games are my favorite RPG series and it's always nice to see people speedrunning them.

I was curious if you had your notes up anywhere? If not it would be pretty awesome if you would put them on the SDA Knowledgebase (https://kb.speeddemosarchive.com/Main_Page) and RPG speedrunning wiki (http://rpgspeedruns.wikia.com/wiki/RPG_Speedruns_Wiki)

Thanks Rudy. My notes are far from being ready to submit. I found some errors in my run that I need to correct first. Will post them when I feel like they are manageable and more readable for others.

Just completed my second full game run, and I lowered my WR by 30 minutes, 8:57:56 now! Lost 15 minutes to a death, so sub 8:45 is easy now. My goal is to stretch it to 8:30.

Set a new WR tonight with 8:21! Still time to be saved, lost 4 minutes to a death. Got first try, first encounter chiro steal which was godlike! Sum of best is 8:05. With more practice dodging and practice with menus, sub 8 is now possible.
