Luigi's Mansion is a game of linearity it is not that long but is hard to play at a fast pace

one improvement in Gibbons run is that I don't think he used the c-stick too he only used the control stick to tear off chunks of monster health. I am not saying he didn't but it would be okay if he would clarify if he did or didn't

IMO there should be only 6 segments the first 2 segments should be combined

Edit:Never mind he did that so he could skip the next cutscene plus it is more optimized that way

well if there is any other speedtricks you can post them here

I think I will keep the route the same as Gibbons run

Soooo... who's the guy that submitted a run for this just recently?? I thought at first it might have been Radix, but is it Smashking? Not much activity in the forums lately, it does not seem. Though, that could just mean it was rdrunner or something. Or Radix, again.

Whoever it is, they stole my secret summer run! Lol. I was going to get rid of Marshmallow's mostly awful effort. Anyway, just curious. Smiley

Yeah, I didn't think it would be either, which is why until now I wasn't worrying about someone beating me to updating the run. But, those two came up when I started to think of people who might run this particular game and also who would not have announced it.

Ah, anyway. I suppose I'll just wait and see.

Yes it is. You can tell because of the little star that appears in the lower-right portion of the screen that it's the "Hidden Mansion".

Nice find! The only thing you'd need to be concerned about is if the time gained by sucking up a bunch of the boos at once justifies the time spent making them cluster together.

I've finally managed to pick up a copy of this game after a long time searching and I was just wondering if anyone knows whether the skips in the game work on the PAL version of the game? Its the original release but I know that there are differences from region to region anyways I just want to know if these differences impact the skips or anything else in the run.

Well all glitches works same except mouse hole text skip (this only works NTSC-J). The major difference is PAL, on hidden mansion it's mirrored, they added and changed some ghosts each room, boos are more agile and more HP (some of less HP in exchange the speed) and it increased 40 to 45 requirements to reach king boo. there are more i don't remember.
