Quote from MURPHAGATOR!:
I'd be happy to run basically any of the games I've submitted to SDA. In particular, POW could fill a 25 minute slot, and Bad Dudes a 20 minute slot. I could do Neon and Final Fight 3, but those are both either in or a bonus game for SGDQ so IDK. I have a lot of other random games I could potentially add if you just want random stuff to fill bad slots, as well, but I doubt it'll come to that.

Likewise, except replace with the games I run. I'd be willing to put forward any of my usual runs.

Thanks Omni. I know what i'll have in mind for what you play
I'm not sure if this game is really marathon material as its quite fast paced and it can be a little daunting to understand if you haven't played it before but I would still like to put forward Little Big Adventure(1:40:00 This is a reserved estimate I usually get around 1:30:00 and my PB, which is currently the WR, is 1:28:31). Can't really say there would be any incentives. I guess the filename could be one? There is also a useless but interesting glitch I could show off at the end of the game but its a bit difficult to pull off. I'm not really a strong talker but I can explain things to a decent level when it needs it. I don't mind if you prioritize other runs over this. Just thought I'd chip in just in case you don't get enough games or you want something different.
Bert = Too Stronk
Honestly I'm down for anything as a suggestion so thank you anyways. I'll keep it in mind once the list comes to existence
Talk to the Hand
Is this strictly a speedrunning marathon? I have some stuff that I'd like to play, but either I'm not yet truly at SDA level (Metroid II 100%), or the game in question isn't really runnable (BIT.TRIP RUNNER).
~PassiveBobOmb the friendliest bomb
Hey man! I would love to offer you a Toy Story 2 any% run for the marathon, estimate is roughly 45 minutes (my WR is 39:27) It'd be sick to have it on there, and I'd love to help in any way, if you need a co streamer, commentator whatever you need man I'll be there, I can't re stream if you'd need that but i can do just about anything else, lemme know some dates and times and feel free to swing by my chat or message me at my facebook fanpage /passivebobomb, or email me (email in profile) or pm me on twitch @passivebobomb See ya later bro, get back to me asap, I'll edit this post if I think of some other games i could give to you.
Bert = Too Stronk
Empty I am considering a bonus stream so if anything we can stick Bit Trip in there if it all works out. But I mean with Metroid 2 just give yourself a good time to finish by (and be sure to include set up time once I get the doc/game list ready) and it should be good to go. I'll keep things organized but I won't crack the whip if someone goes a little over their estimate

Passive I appreciate all the help, and i'll keep a look out for your edits when I get you more information. I'm DEFINITELY curious about Toy Story 2 though.

And for everyone else be sure to keep an eye on the very first post of this thread (I'll post the official date there) and as usual thank you ALL for helping

I can run my trademark game, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. Sora's Story for the GBA is mostly likely a 3:30: run, so I'll say 4:00:00 for insurance and setup time

I'm also grinding out the route for Pokemon Sapphire at the moment, and I will definitely be able to run that by August with a 2:30:00 time estimate.
"Let's be mega men" -Yashi
So I can offer Mega Man 1, and I really have no idea what I'd do for donation incentives as the run is relatively straight-forward. I'd really love to run in this though Smiley estimate is 25 minutes.
Bert = Too Stronk
Thank you Ghostwheel for the suggestions I have to admit I'm curious to CoM

Adef Mega Man 1 is plenty fine, not EVERY game needs incentives so its totally fine
I can offer Pokémon Fire Red any% (I'll give a estimate of 2:50:00) and Pokémon Crystal (Estimate of say 4:30:00)
Donation incentives can obviously be naming the trainer, rival and pokémon. (Skipping credits could possibly be another donation incentive for Crystal.)

But credits are so good Sad
That's why I said possibly, we don't HAVE to make it a donation incentive if we don't want to Tongue Even though it would pain me to skip them if it does become an incentive...

Okay, awesome. I guess 1:45 to 1:50 would be a good time estimate for Metroid II for now. Really gotta get that run to the next level.

I also would need to know the date sooner rather than later, to know if this runs into Connecticon time at all.
B+Left, Left, Up+B, ★
Dunno if I can make it, but if I can, I'd be willing to offer Super Punch Out. I don't know a good estimate yet, so maybe something like 30 minutes is good?
Bert = Too Stronk
Playe thank you for the Pokemon offerings, the donation incentives are nice (we'll debate on the credits one lol)

Empty the date is getting closer to the last week of August (probably the last weekend going into September 1st). I'll have more details once I talk to my mom about it who has the contact information of the people in Love Without Boundaries that I speak to

Zallard that's plenty fine, just be sure your estimate includes setup time and some insurance. I want to make sure everyone has enough time to sort out their setup you know?
FFXIII and Mario Games, yup.
I hope that up until the Marathon happens my Internet is better so I can stream in proper quality,
if that is the case I could offer New Super Mario Bros. U 100% (estimate 3:45:00 w/o Setup, 4:00:00 w/ setup).
Donation incentive would be "Save all Yoshis or Kill all Yoshis"
Bert = Too Stronk
NSMBU sounds great, and that's an interesting donation incentive. I'm sure it'll be along the lines of Super Metroid (Kill/Save/Taunt Animals). I look forward to it

Like adef, my games are fairly incentiveless sadly. Simon's Quest, Demon's Crest, Goonies 2 and Guardian Legend are options to fill in a graveyard shift if you need to. I wish I could learn a new game and stop being a 4 trick pony, but this summer is BOOKED with work for me.

I suppose I could grind out some Binding of Isaac as well, but I'd want a real heads up notice for that. Gotta get back in form if my last few races are any judge.

Hey there, depending on when this is going on, I can offer the following games.

Goldeneye 007 (N64 - Emulator) Agent run - ~30 minutes  (Possible incentive - Enemy Rockets run...but it would increase the estimate to ~1:10)
James Bond 007 (Game Boy - Emulator) - ~1 hour (Incentives - File Name and Good Ending)
Alpha Protocol (PC) - ~1:55 (Incentives - Appearance (LUMBERJACK BEARD!) and All Missions...but it would increase the estimate to ~2:15)
Splinter Cell: Conviction - (PC) ~2:00 (Incentives - N/A)
GTA3 - (PC) ~2:00 (Incentives - Radio Station to be played throughout)
True Crime: Streets of LA - (PC) ~1:00 (Incentives - File Name)

I'd have to know what I'm doing ASAP - just to make sure I know what to practice! Obviously I don't want to do every single one, but if I was to choose three from the list, it would probably be Goldeneye, James Bond 007 (Because of the absurdity) and GTA3. True Crime is also a great option because it was pretty cult...and it hasn't even been published to SDA yet. Tongue

I'm in Australia, so GMT +9:30 - so I'd be filling the graveyard shift most likely...again - gotta let meh know!
I can offer:

A Boy and His Blob (NES) - Any% Glitched - The WR is 1:59 and I average 2:03 when I actually finish a run, however these are using the WR all out strats. For a marathon I think a 5 minute estimate would be more than enough and 15 if you want to account setup and such.

A Boy and His Blob (Wii) - Any% - This run is quite a bit longer. It'll probably be a 2h30m estimate at this point. My current PB/WR is 2:09; however, I haven't played it too much recently. I can get a run ready by the marathon though no problem.

SeaWolf- those 4 games seem plenty fine just give me some estimates for your games (Be sure to include set up time as well and a little bit of insurance time!) Simon's Quest definitely has my eye though (all of them are great btw)

Softman out of the list you made if you personally pick those 3 then i'll pick those 3 because of your suggestions. If you prefer those then by all means that is what shall be done. Also the incentives I'm leaving up to you as well so keep that in mind.

Zephyrz Both Boy and his Blob games huh? I'll keep it in mind, DEFINITELY the NES one for sure (love that game)

I could do a few things.
ALttP Any% No S+Q (ETA 1:40:00) File name for incentive (there are three 4 character slots available)
RunMan: Race Around the World (ETA 0:25:00)
Streemerz any% or 16 bags of cash (ETA 6min and 8min respectively) incentive for which category??

I'm usually quick about setting up so there shouldn't be much time at all.
