I want to do a speed run for Lost Planet (the PC version since I don't have a 360). Anyone interested?

It will be 11 segments, one for each mission. I think I can do it in under 1:30:00 on easy.

I haven't played the game but I've seen a report of it in the tv and it seems to be a nice game.
And 1:30 sounds to be a nice time, so I'm interested! Cheesy

I'm interested too. 1:30 sounds good, I'd guess even less if you can find some shortcuts, skip as many fights as possible, get fast mechs and beat bosses quickly.

Yep, it's a 3rd person shooter. I finished the first mission at 4:51.

Do you know a good avi compressor?

I'm using Virual Dub and DivX Converter for my videos, the DivX Converter is a very good and easy converter. And the quality of the video is very good and has a very good size.

Maybe you should go with Xvid, since it's faster than Xvid and better in every way.

Don't you have to do the intro first ?

Comments about the first mission:

1) Are you sure the mech is faster instead of run ? I mean, it takes couple seconds to "wake up" the mech and get out of it.

2) In that building, are you sure that grappling onto the railing is faster instead of run straight-forward ?

3) At 2:50, wouldn't be faster to use grappling hook on the bridge on your left instead of going around ?

4) Same in 3:40

5) You could maybe avoid stumble in 4:10

Other than that the run is fine, although there's basically nothing to screw up.

Oh ya, I forgot about that...

1.Yes, the mech is faster.
2.About the same, I go up there since the bug drops in the middle and staggers me almost every time.
3 and 4.Yes, good idea. Grappling to the bridges saves about 10secs.
5.Ya, I was too close with the rocket launcher.
