I love YaBB 1G - SP1!

Would anyone be interested in a run of the very old game, Leisure suit larry?

I would use the old DOS version of the game.

I would. There's a thread on it already several pages back. I believe someone was working on it but disappeared.

Take a look at this run:

It's very nicely done, what one could call a "fast complete playthrough" in which he completes the game rapidly (including luck manipulation in the casino) but achieves a full score and shows all dialogue so one can follow what's going on.

For adventure games, this is a very nice kind of video, probably more interesting to most people who haven't played the game in years (or who have never played it) than a true speedrun. El Nino, if you're reading this, I think this might be an interesting type of video to add as a second category on your site: a fast 100% playthrough, for people who also want to see the story.

The original game with enhanced graphics (VGA-version) can be completed within 10-12 minutes overall.

I remember trying it 10-15 times over a week or so including luck manipulation in the Casino. That is the hardest part in the game to get by.

Getting past the pimp is the longest and most dull part. Obviously paying him to get past would be the easier way, but at the point where you need to pickup the candy and th ehammer, you cant afford to pass him.

He thanks a lot. I will ask him about putting his run on my site. I also thought about doing a run of this game, but I had no time left for that, so I think I have to this later.
