tja, het is verorberen en verorberd worden
what do you think of it?

me:

ER: 8
but i don't llike the symetrie in the map
EH: 7.5
i already had done this map quite some some years ago and already chopped of 12 secs of my best time from then
NR  9.5
I always planned to make a map something alike I think it's very nicely tweaked to (except for one little thing but i geuss i will find a way to get around that problem)
NH  7
small simple fraction fighting (ssff)
gibathon

i don't like the map and the environment is just very unfriendly for me. I played a lot of ctf but never ever that map, it wasn't even on the server while there wherre quite some custom ctfmaps installed of wich quite some would be a lot more suited for running then i find this one. Oh well i geuss there's something for everyone to like and something for everyone to dislike Smiley

I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
That's all you got? Hah!
Don't even bother sending them in.

Seriously...

I liked all the 3 first maps. Shafted rocks, I've never seen anything quite like it before.

The NH map is just suckass, everybody will finish in the same time, or like within a second of eachother. No boostpotentials, cause if you go too fast, you cant kill all the friggin monsters. =/

The boostathon is so-so. I never played CTF so I got lost the first 30 minutes I played it. It's got a few potential routes, but it all boils down to pretty much 1 route cause of the penta/quad combo. I'd like to see more switches/keys to closed doors/barriers, and perhaps not quad. And upstairs it's like 2 cm to the roof, so any speedjumping really gets cramped up. The route I use now will probably yield high 40's at best (got :56 till now), so bleh =P
Huhae
Thats why its a fucking boostathon you fucking DUMMY!

:-D

And basil, just get real with the fact that you dont like ME!!!

:-(

That we don't share the political views is no reason for me to dislike you ( if you based that on our previous discussions)

That you put effort into making maps kinda would the fact i don't like the latest one of you doesn't realy mather. I didn't even realise wich map was made by who.I just think shafted is great the others are fun,  your idea is good but the map you picked i dislike. I think there would be quite some other ctfmaps wich would be mcuh more fun to play. I haven't played ctf for a long time but i do remember our server had three mappacks loaded the ones i remember are:

Threewave 1&2
thunderwave
anotherwave
Xeno (this one i liked best especialy i think xeno5)

the problem with most maps were that they were to big for our likings and we mostly played the id maps Smiley

Hehe yeah shafted is awesome...  Kind of hard to get optimal on..  I havent even tried other maps yet Shocked

I didn't really pick 2fort5, but, actually, imho, I think its a pretty good map to run if all youre concerned with is boosting.  To be honest, I am currently bogged down with finals and such, so I couldn't really spend a lot of time on perfecting the route and all.  But I think its a good map to "optimize" as far as boosting running goes.

On the other hand thats me.  Me as in the guy who likes running with quad rl + hfr more than anything Cheesy

to optimise it it'f friKKen long.
to do good routeplanning it has some potential
but i think it's architecture is a bit amateuristic or something
Hell is where the heart is.
The choice of 2fort5 was mine, Basil. I asked Phil to do the conversion.

I chose it because it's the most popular (or at least most frequently played) TeamFortress map EVER. I shudder to think how many hours I used to spend on that map. Brrrrrrrrr.

Anyone that played TF should enjoy this map for the novelty of running this classic map with regular weapons. Anyone else, I hope they will too but sorry if you don't. :-)
