Does anyone know if Klonoa's US version is faster than the European version or the same speed ?
For old games, NTSC games are ofter faster than PAL ones.
I recently looked at someone playing the US version and it seems faster.

The only problem : he's playing on an emulator, so I can't say for sure if it's the original speed or if he used some sort of option to accelerate the game.
I'm trying to search any videos of Klonoa but I can't find any videos of it with the same speed.

In general, games before the ps3/XB360 era had a difference in speed between PAL and NTSC. Pal plays at 50 fps, ntsc at 60. Unless the developers specifically adjusted thd game to run the same speed, ntsc will always run about17% faster.

I just did a terrible comparison of two let's plays that I could find; one of the guys was talking American, the other English. I tried timing the windmill right at the beginning (ten pass-throughs of a rotor) and got seven seconds for the American guy and eight for the English guy. Which would point towards a speed difference.

I suggest you check out an American let's play (eg this one: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KGIV9ORdlk ) and pay attention whether the game 'feels' fast for you. That's how I noticed that FFIX runs at two different speeds in PAListan: 60 fps for FMVs and 50 fps ingame (the US gameplay seemed damn fast but there was that one slow FMV that wasn't any faster in the US version).
