Rookie DF reportin' f'dudy, sir.
Wow. I've searched all around this site and not even a request for this game!
I love this game (right up there with Chibi Robo, mind you) and would think that something like an IL table would be possible. Maybe even IL's for the Top Ride section, too. City Trial would pretty much be negatory, as it has a pre-determined ending time.

I almost know for a fact that there could be an IL table for just each of the courses. I was thinking maybe there could be seperate runs of the courses using different vehicles, but this could just get too ugly and complicated.

[reserved space for current best times here]

I would love some support (doesn't everybody?) so please, share your opinions =3

((small note to those who are concerned about Chibi Robo: I'm still practicing it, but it's nice to do something other than yell at a demented toy thing for hours on end. This would be a great thing to practice/cool down with, and I would like to see if I could make this a run, too! Yay for multi-tasking =P ))

IL tables would work, though you'd have to be using the legendary vehicles for the best times. I'm not sure whether the Dragoon or Hydra would work best off hand (may differ per stage), but good luck to you if you work on this, though personally I like Top Ride better than the normal stages.

Edit: Look here for times to beat: http://www.cyberscore.me.uk/group-748.php
All of these times also tell you which star they used, and none of them seem to be legendary, so maybe you can't use them for Time Attack, I don't remember.
Rookie DF reportin' f'dudy, sir.
That would make sense, the legendary vehicles thing. Though I admittedly haven't figured out how to unlock them in Air Ride mode ^^''
I unlocked the LM (legendary machines, too lazy to type it all out) in City Trial mode but....Grah. Google, help me.
Look up at edited post: cyberscore has times.

*eye twitches*
Woah. I have got to get better times.
Or at least stop only using Free Run mode.

Thanks a lot! =D

Edit: It's amazing what wonders Youtube can do. Double Boosting. Press A twice while on a boost pad to get about .2 or .3 more faster than a regular boost. Gunna test this out.

You could also do some of the City Trial stadiums. Like Drag Race.

EDIT: And the King Dedede Stadium. (Though you'd have to get really lucky)
Rookie DF reportin' f'dudy, sir.
True, very true.

And tested the double boost, and it works! You do some interesting things with it....
Do you have a method of recording, even if it's not the best right now, so we can see and maybe give some advice?

Rookie DF reportin' f'dudy, sir.
Um, yeah. I'll put some stuff up soon. Like ~15 mins.

Edit: Make that 30 mins. >>;;
Rookie DF reportin' f'dudy, sir.
Alright, a Time Attack of Checker Nights. http://www.filedropper.com/0820h19m57video
It was actually my first time in a long while going through TA, so I messed up at the end and stuff.

With the double boost, I can break through the cave enterance in one hit and jump over the ending curve when I go over the small bump on the left.
But I missed it in the second lap and messed up a lot. But there. I need practice and stuff.
It's downloading now, but why didn't you just use Youtube?
Rookie DF reportin' f'dudy, sir.
....I need to get more sleep. Really.

29 minutes? Bleck.
Oh, it's more than just one race? Or is it all your attempts?
Did you use Anri-chan? Because it has an easy way to crop videos.

Rookie DF reportin' f'dudy, sir.
I would like to use Anri-chan, but I can't install anything on my compy.
It's only 4 minutes something, but it's the raw mpg format.

Is there something that I could convert it to (besides mp4) that would be a tad bit faster? DX

92% done uploading....Youtube don't fail me here. >>
I watched it, and I believe there is probably a faster vehicle than warp star. :/

The record holder at cyberscore uses Rocket Star and has a time of sub 3 minutes.
Rookie DF reportin' f'dudy, sir.

For those who don't want to download it.

MarioGalaxy: I know, but I've needed to get some practice in on an actual vehicle, I've been using Meta Knight way too much. This was just a quick seeing-how-double-boosting-works thing.
Not very trying much. ><
I was about to say the same thing, although unfortunately Youtube is pretty barren on KAR videos...
Rookie DF reportin' f'dudy, sir.
Nes: I know, right? But I found the double boosting technique on there, so it wasn't totally worthless.

And another thing I just realized, the maximum speed for Wheel is much greater than the actual star, when going on the rails.
In this game, Meta Knight is just a lame combination of Sword and Bird Kirby. I never use him for Air Ride. Only on Free Trial to get my sister angry.

Anyways, yeah. Kirby Air Ride isn't that popular on youtube. There is like, Breakdancing kirby, and thats it.

The maximum speed for wheel is greater than the actual star period.
Practice with the Rocket. It kills the warp star.

Rookie DF reportin' f'dudy, sir.
And KAR isn't too popular here, too, I guess. Only like 5 mentions total, not even for an actual run.

So, yeah. Practice makes perfect.

I always hated Rocket Star, but I need to get that time. I'll see what I can do *goes to practice*

Edit: Holy Fleep. I do not know how to use this thing.
Kirby air ride isn't popular period. Its underrated.

Any actual vehicles that aren't named bulk star or slick star kill the warp star.

To use the Rocket Star: Use boost. A lot.
Rookie DF reportin' f'dudy, sir.
No duh.

GRAH. Keep getting lousy times.
The trick is boosting at the right places....and avoiding the dark grey ares.
No really, DF. DX
Rookie DF reportin' f'dudy, sir.
Well....haven't gotten a lap under 1:35 or something so far.....
But Turbo Star seems to work well. Maybe I just really don't know how to use Rocket Star. I want to strangle that thing.....
Try and make your boosts last. Avoid walls, boost around corners, basic stuff. Simply do a lot of testing. BTW: Why didn't you go into the second cave?

I was wrong about bulk star not killing warp star. Apparently the high score for nebula belt is with Bulk Star.
