I love YaBB 1G - SP1!

Hi.

1. I just wanted to ask, if theres any interrest in a Killer7 speedrun for Nintendo Gamecube.

2. Further, i just have a video recorder and digitize-software, so is the Quality hi enough for you? Or do i need a DVD recorder?

3. How do i manage to export the Video to DivX format?

And sorry for this bad english. I´m german. ^^

1. Yes, there's a thread here. I was thinking of doing one, but got annoyed at the load times.

2. I don't know what you mean ("video recorder" is a very general term), but if you're talking about a video camera, then no.

If you are using a VCR, let Nate take care of the capturing. He has high quality equipment and knows what he's doing.

Yes, you may use a VCR (I am), but nate reccommends that you use a DVD recorder anyway, and it does sound to me like less of a hassle than a VCR...then again, my VCR is a piece of junk and I have to use the other one in my house at completely random times.

Exporting the video to DivX format is not something you have to worry about if you can send the tapes to nate when you're done. If you were to do it yourself, err...yeah. I speak english, but I'm such a technical newb I probably couldn't tell you what you need to do on any level.

na ja wenn ich nur die zeit hätte, würde ich eine deutsche version der faq schreiben. am besten wäre, wenn du was du schon aufgenommen hast (eine video-datei) hier postete, damit wir die qualität überprüfen könnten. und dann gehts los.

Jo, ich werde mich nächste Woche mal dran setzen und ein Bisschen aufnehmen. Die Qualität müsste aber eigentlich ok sein.
Wir haben schon einige Urlaubsvideos digitalisiert und bei der Übertragung vom Recorder auf den Pc gab es keine grossartigen Qualitätseinbussen mehr, also wenn die Qualität des Videos klar geht, gibts kein Problem.
