Well I am supposing that JoeQuake is software Quake and all versions of software quake lock up on my system/overspeed unless I boot into DOS. Odd, isn't it?
Unless he added some code in there to find out who is using the program and if the user matches someone on his "blacklist" then the program will stuff up
there're both software and GL .exe's Win98 is probably old yeah, but still better than that shit XP... Linux version is under progress, I'm planning to make svgalib, X11 and GLX versions, but svgalib at least
Win98 is the only decent thing if you want to run "older" games on a PC. I've tried running XP, WinME, Win2000 etc, but I've always re-installed Win98 again. It's the only system that feels right to me.
