I MIGHT consider a run on this game as soon as I get the equipment feel free to glitch hunt and discuss routes. Also, I'd encourage most of you to check out this guy's vids:

He's already found a few sequence breaks. Also, at some point I'll make a wiki probably not today or tomorrow though.

Plan on using the infinte flying glitch? It should be SDA-legal as long as you stay in-bounds.

You mean the sequence where you press X, O, X, O, ect? I probably will, there should be some SDA-legal sequence breaks that you can find with it. The guy's profile I posted has a vid called " Jak 3 Haven Ruins Glitch", it's a pretty nice break, but it's probably not legal though. He has another one however that looks as if it's just simple clip through a wall, but it skips 35% of Act III.

EDIT: Just tryed it, it does work.

EDIT 2: I'll probably end up using this break. I'm afraid that the other one is a violation of the OoB rule. I just played through the game using the other break. I'll play through it again using this one to see if I can skip most of the missions in Act 3. I should be able to do it right after I get the ability to fly.

Sorry for the double post, but I contacted the guy who made these vids and he's agreed to help us out.

EDIT: Do you guys think I should just do a mission a segement or should I try for two? They are usually pretty long, but I got an idea that it might be easier for me to do two or three easier missions in one segement and leave the longer, more difficult missions in segements of their own so I can re-try as many times as it takes to get them just right.

It'd probably be better to make each mission a segment for the best optimization possible. Btw, when you save and quit where do you end up being when you start up again? If I remember correctly, it puts you at the last area you were at (ex. desert gate,haven forest,metal head city area). I love the Jak series and I'm really looking forward to the run. Smiley

Each little section of the game has it's own designated area that you'll arrive at when you load up the file. Like If I saved somewhere near the transport to the Wasteland, I'd end up right outside the Naighty Ottsel when I loaded it up again. Or, if I saved in the Wasteland, I'd end up right outside the gate (this one could be useful for desert missions).
