People will forget about this sooner than the whole WMD's thing in Iraq.
No but on the real, i may have crossed a certain line as well and won't do it again. it's really hard to stay pissed @ the guy who ran the original TMNT.
A lot of people didn’t like some of my posts, and I can say they were mistakes on my part. I take full responsibility and I am sorry.
i do not accept this apology. something like this damages SDA as it can actually propose the idea that there is any kind of thought or post [besides a robot spamming the forum with a porn link] that is "bad" in some way. even if you called someone a jackass for something you were wrong about, you should be aware that you only did so because you assumed whatever you were wrong about was true. that was just a hypothetical example since i'm not sure what you're talking about.
what you say and what your intentions are, these are 2 different things. there is never something you "say" that should be apologized for in this lifetime, but perhaps some intentions [possibly, not sure] may fall into this idea...if it even serves any purpose for that matter.
SDA should escape the formal / normal way of posting since speed-running is neither formal or standard of gameplay in the first place. the forum should mirror this as usually people's way of typing and thinking do not fucking match. putting on a political show is damaging to sda. caring about small children or religious people is damaging to sda. caring about anyone except for yourself or the game you are interested in talking about, is damaging to SDA.
any post on this forum that is someone's pure and un-altered opinion is highly respectable. heated arguments are highly respectable. cursing and any "not politically smiled upon" phrases [racism, sexism, etc] in someone's post that IS THEIR REAL OPINION AND WAY OF THINKING / SPEAKING, is HIGHLY -- respectable.
there are no rules (or at least there should be no rules) that specify what you can and cannot say, as long as it has to do with whatever discussion is taking place. having rules for anything besides issues on -what- should be discussed, is highly damaging for SDA. in fact, i believe that there should be a boardwalk here to even nullify THAT inherent rule, so that there is nothing that cannot be discussed or said. doing so would improve SDA greatly.
-predicting the future is not logic, "IF we do this, THEN this will happen" is insanity if anything else. you can not put human feelings in an equation like variables in a math problem...there is no consistency between them whatsoever.-
if SDA is not to fail and is to go on the path of constant improvement...limits need to disappear. unlimited thinking is power, the only key is that these thoughts are what people want to say. politicians are very good at not answering questions and not helping anyone, but seeming like they are through careful speaking. this is not what sda is about. sda is about the direct route to cut through the game in the most masterful manner. sda is pretty much the same with games as it is with life, and should reflect this.
this post made me feel very sad on the inside and sorry for sda, as it shows that sda going on a bad spiral and may be reaching a point of no return if it does not go through some kind of evolution very soon...

Ha. Try 4chan. xx spouts this nonsense all the time, don't mind him.
And yeah, Spider, can it. Don't apologise, make up for it.
I'm glad you've read what I've posted and took it to heart. An apology is good, but the best way to show you've actually improved is to make up for it, like Lag said.
Like I've said, before you post your new suggestion (if you still intend to), let it cool down for a week or two. It can only do good for everyone.
Thanks. I think this can be locked now that everyone's good and the apology was said, right?
