Fable: The Lost Chapters; SMW any%
Is there any games anyone runs? Damn, I think this is the only console that no one runs on. I'd love to run games on my iPhone but I think there are some difficulties.
Recording your run. Found and app that seems Mac only and it's not to expensive ($12 is actually pretty expensive) but I do not have a Mac. Your second option would be recording but that wouldn't pass the quality requirements for a submission.
Thirdly is AirPlay but who the FUCK has an Apple TV. (hipsters that's who) Last option is going to be buying an iPod to jailbreak it which is probably the easiest and cheapest (you don't have to buy a new tv or MacBook) If I find a game I like I will probably just live stream it from twitch for now but that will not be a permanent solution.
Edit #1 (of many): Found a cool game http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mos_Speedrun that looks cool. Just have the lite version and I've seen that it has video recording built in. This still wouldn't solve the livestreaming issue but I've researched and found a method to connect your phone up to any hdmi tv but that's a minimum of $27 I don't want spend a minimum of $27. Please give you feedback as I if I should pursue an IoS speedrun or not.
Edit #2: Sorry for Mobile website I made that post from my phone
Edit #3: Found this, http://itools.hk/en_index.htm and it tell me I can mirror my iPhone screen here http://learninginhand.com/blog/2013/3/13/mirror-ipad-iphone-ipod-to-your-screen-for-free but I can't figure it out. Anyone want to help?
Edit #4: Figured it out, but this does not work well at all for a speed perspective. Very laggy, awful for SPEED running. Back to the drawing board.
Edit #5: http://www.airserver.com/ Great, cheaper than buying a new iPod and not laggy; for the most part. Hopefully I'll be able to buy this soon and be off on my marry way.
Edit #6: The game Aerox is really cool and it is a lot like Super Monkey Ball, which is a game I love. It has leader boards and it seems pretty popular already. Controls can be a little wonky at times but I'm going to start making videos for levels in another thread. https://forum.speeddemosarchive.com/post/aerox_ios_game.html
