"If in doubt, flat out" -Colin McRae
Hey, fellow speedrunners & SDA members,

I recently ordered & received my new io-data GV-USB2 capture card. On amazon it got rave reviews, even saw a few amazing quality test vids on YT, but I have a few MAJOR, glaring problems
that prevent me from streaming my runs with this thing:

- First, After I hooked my console up to it & plugged the capture card, Opened up AmaRecTV, and I got this error upon program startup:  http://i.imgur.com/1dmph0l.png

-Then, I attempted to configure the inputs & what not, NO COMPOSITE INPUT OPTION! http://i.imgur.com/AvO2gAC.png

-Then I went to configure the device, and noticed something really strange, seriously. http://i.imgur.com/Uvc7XRy.png  It did not detect any signals, but it detected 525 lines? Seriously? And it stayed like this whether my NES is turned on or off.

Lastly for troubleshooting purposes, here is a screenshot of my AmaRecTV folder:  http://i.imgur.com/irXEmZh.png

If there is any help I can get for resolving any of these issues, Please let me know as soon as you can. Thank you for help,

With the first screenshot, is any other program trying to use the capture card at the same time as Amarec? Only one program can use it at a time, so you'll have to enable Amarec Live to get streaming to work.

On the second screenshot, you should be capturing at 720x480.

Are there any drivers with this device?
About the 525 detected lines, that's correct. a 480i/p signal has 480 visible and 45 invisble lines, which adds up to 525. I think it's only common in Japan to use the higher numbers though.

Got the dongle myself, do you have the latest drivers installed? The ones on the disc were kinda old
