HELLO!
For learning and practicing speed runs, the save state feature of the Nakitek Game Saver and Game Saver+ is great. However, not all games work with it out of the box. For games it's not preprogrammed to know how to handle, you have to put in codes that tell it how to do the save stating compatibly for that game.
Fortunately they published a long list of codes for games at the time. Unfortunately their list of games was aimed at the US market, so Japan-only games didn't really get any attention.
Does anyone know anything about how to figure out what codes a given game would need? I'm particularly concerned about Umihara Kawase, which is able to save and load the state, but *freezes* after restoring.
thanks,
