Hello! I'm Yoann, I'm 28 and my nickname is Yolas.

I'm from France and heard about your community from Nesblog.com and the MisterMV's re-streams on twitch for the recent charity events...

Actually I do not speedrun but I'm getting really interested in learning speedrunning FFVI or FFIX.
Hey, My name is Sebastian I'm 22 and I'm from Poland.

For long time I was watching streams from SDA and SRL on twitch, and wanted to speedrun something for myself.
I will try speedrun Beyong Good & Evil, and maybe something else later.
Hi everyone ! My name's Matthias, I'm from France.

I've been watching speedruns and TASes for a couple of years now, but never attempted to actually perform one.
After watching some videos from AGDQ'13 and SDGQ'12, I decided to dive into this world, and here I am Smiley

My first game will be Tiny Toon Adventures : Buster's Hidden Treasure on the Genesis. It's a shame I only have the PAL version. I'll be practicing on emulator and maybe I'll acquire an actual copy when I'm ready :p
Anyway, I love this game, it's as fast as a Sonic game but it's a regular platformer without fancy mechanics.
Hi i'm chibizer0
i've been watching and attempting speedruns on and off for a while now and have recently got back into it with megaman X4, breath of fire 3 and 4 and am try to learn tales of graces f atm.

Hello I'm LordMhoram was introduced to speedruns by the Kings of Poverty marathon and have been interested in speedrunning a game ever since. I attempted to start doing wind waker runs when there was big races every week, but quickly realized that I just couldn't get into the game to play it that much. Up until recently I have not been able to find a game that was I enjoyed enough to speedrun. I am now doing a casual play through of Dragon Warrior monsters. Once done with that casual run I plan on doing full single segment runs of the games over at  http://www.twitch.tv/LordMhoram

Hello, I am Paradox_Zero. Some of you may know me as Baron of Bacon.

I am from the United States, and I've been lurking around this site and many runners' streams for at least 6 years now. I always enjoy watching a good speedrun, and am currently debating what game I will begin to speedrun seriously. I love me some Castlevania, and am willing to try most any game at least once. Eventually, I would like to help out here where ever I can, be it through helping to test something, verifying, or submitting a run Smiley

Hey Paradox_Zero, nice to see you've joined the forum Smiley

Hi, I'm Gyups. I'm from Canada. I've been watching Cosmo speedrun for an AGE on twitch and then AGDQ'13 happened and now I watch, well, more people speedrun Zelda titles and sundry other games than I can count or keep track of, but I love it. I've been dipping into Twilight Princess some, which may or may not be a HUGE MISTAKE, and I would also like to get started on Shadow of the Colossus and Beyond Good & Evil. Maybe screw around with Majora's Mask someday, who knows? Anyway, I thought I'd better quit lurking and get a gd forum account already.

This sort of sounds like an intro to Speedrunners Anon. Heh. Guilty.
Hello everyone, I'm Arkum, a french student. I've been watching speedruns for a year or two maybe, and as the french community is growing up I wanted to be part of this.
I'm looking forward to learn Jazz Jackrabbit 2 (my first actual game) and I've been working since a week or two on a route for Knytt Underground, so I hope I will be able to submit a run of this game soon !
Hi, I'm Akiteru. I like to run Mega Man X and race it quite a bit on SRL. Been lurking for a while and decided to post here.

You're all wonderful.

FFTA, why!
I'm John (Juganog) i came across SDA in 2010-2011 and have watched SLR for what feels like ages now! i have casually run games for ages now, which to me sounds like a dumb term! but i have never committed myself to a single game long enough to be the "best" apart from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, which i plan on running and submitting soon once i have the equipment to film it without an emulator, i normally lurk the newer consoles part of the forum as these consoles are more from my era and i know most of the games, which does help understand what is going on for some glitches or runs Smiley
outside of games i go to school and go to party's, i have a part time job as a computer relocation's engineer which is just a fancy way of saying i pack computers up and put them into a box and get paid to do it.

Welcome carnage. I was worried about you. Have not seen you during my MTPO attempts in weeks dude.
I love speedruns!
Hi, I'm Tobias, although "more" known as Hetsig/Hetsigify. I've been enjoying speedruns since 2007, TAS since 2009. I recently got this huge project on doing Devil May Cry 4 on Dante Must Die, i think i went over my head on this one hahah. Well, at least try, right?

Hello to ALL SDA users Smiley
Hey, I'm Azure, I haven't been watching or attempting speedruns for very long, but I've always been looking for more efficient methods to play my games, so I think it's natural for me to get into speedrunning. I am currently working on Custom Robo for the Gamecube, and I plan to join the ranks of the pokemon speedrunners.

Hello to all, godspeed and good RNG.

Hello, I'm Kira, a french gamer and I would like to start speedruns, so, I hope I can start here!

Hello to all SDA users (sorry if my english is not perfect, but I'm a student and I'm not talented for speaking english Tongue )
Hi everyone, I'm JojosOBJECTION. I've been watching speedruns for quite a while now and I finally got off my lazy ass and started streaming. Currently trying to learn the ins and outs of Majora's Mask, but will probably work on quite a few other games. Obviously hoping to either break a WR or just get popular. Mostly just looking to have fun and do something productive with all the time I spend playing games.
Hey guys, my name is Josh and have recently discovered the world of speed running Tongue

I was just coming here to try and get some insight on how to start speed running and the order of what to learn ETC. I'm mostly interested in any% OoT with the wrong warp to Ganon's castle (obviously) If anyone could help me out that would be awesome! Smiley

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to SDA, Meli!
Hello guys, my name is Anthony and i'm a french student.

I've been speedrunning casualy for years without knowing that was speedrunning, with bad bad times but i'd love doing that.
That was my childwood, and now i'd like to do it more seriously and join your great community. o/ I prefer NES games (especially Mega Man ones), but sadly I have the PAL console. So I have to play on emulator until i got enough money to buy NTSC stuff to do real legit runs.

Otherwise, for francophone members, I've done some stuff for the french video game press website Gamekult. 5 broadcasts where i played NES games in a more or less speedrunning way to make viewers discover them.

Voilà, i'm happy to join you and also the french community of SDA =D

Hi, I'm Sayber, but you can call me Gabe. I've been watching runs for about a year, but haven't started running until a couple of weeks ago. I'm currently working on a run of TES-IV: Oblivion. I played that game when it first came out in '06. I was 9 at the time when my Dad introduced me to Oblivion. I played it through and forgot about it. Then, when the Expansion Pack came out around a year later, I played it again. I realized how broken that game was and chose to indulge in the glitches. Fast forward 5 years (I'm 15 now), I came upon a run of Oblivion on YouTube. It had been done pretty much without using any major glitches, and I thought I could do the run way faster with glitches. So here I am.
