I'm looking to gauge the interest in a run of Sins Episode: Emergence. I've got a tentative route, and I've done a couple of runs, and it looks pretty fun. I enjoy running it, and I was wondering if anyone else would enjoy seeing me do so/verify my run.

There is always someone who wants to see it. And even if there isn't, run it anyway, the most important thing is that you have fun running the game you're running.

Here's an RTA I just finished about a day ago. the general route is sketched out, but I choke at the end and end up wasting about fiveish minutes because of a death. http://youtube/8HXqHxGVTa0

I might be interested, could you upload your video somewhere else, it's deleted from youtube and I'd like to watch it.

EDIT: What difficulty should I run on? (Casual - Extreme?) What setting should "Give Assistance" be? Should I "skip intro" for runs?
Fixed the youtube upload (hopefully), and most of the settings are visible in the start. I play on casual with give assistance set to never. casual because i'm a baddie, and it makes it MUCH easier to do the very first skip in the game without dying, and never give assistance because it will begin changing the enemy layout and that just makes things more RNG based then they already are. I skip the intro because its basically an autoscroller and there are only two points in it where you have control. Thanks for your interest! It's always nice to run with others, instead of running alone and friendless Grin

Okay thanks! I'm still doing a casual playthrough now and after that I'll learn your route Smiley

I did a run a few years ago. Been meaning to get back to it again someday. Totally stealing a couple of your skips!

Seems my audio isn't horribly desynced anymore now that YouTube supports 60 FPS.

Watching Pro1ong's vid right now, some comments;

0:45 you can jump directly to the opposite roof doing a Dalejump* with the trashcan.
*Carrying an object while bhopping, preferably something sloped like a barrel sideways, then dropping or throwing it at your feet at just the right time so you collide into the top edge of the object and achieve a collision boost.
1:54 you can jump ontop of the building on left after exiting door by using the blown off door or a table as a ramp and doing a grenade jump (not sure if grenade is really required, but 3 hours attempts without it didn't work).
2:24 you can jump to the right and land in a water puddle to receive no damage from the fall (which should be used for landing if going over the building too)
3:06 you can jump directly under the closing door before it closes

And now I need to be elsewhere.

I looked at this game a while back, practiced all of the cool skips but did not do a run. The plan is to go back and eventually learn the route to do some runs.

I'm still learning the route and seeing if I can find some new tricks/glitches, but I'm pretty busy at the moment, so progress is slow.
