Obviously no one has noticed my plight in my trick thread in the PC forum, so I'll just post this here quickly. Everytime I load a Half-Life game, or load up the Console, it says I need "cached.wad." I checked my directory, and it's not even there. I would venture a guess that that's the problem <_<;

If anyone here has Half-Life, and would be gracious enough to copy the file and send it to my e-mail address, I would very much appreciate it Grin

Copy your save files to another folder and try reinstalling the game. Sorry if this doesn't work i don't have HF Sad

Err...have you tried registering your game with Steam yet? I guess you don't want to, but it will solve all of your problems.

That won't solve the problem at hand @_@;

I just need someone to go into their Half-Life directory, find "cached.wad," copy it, and send it to me, and I'll be all happy Grin
