Hi from the spanish comunnity.
Like imRukus after the casual play of the game i am going to start finding stuff and routing the game.
Is impressive all the stuff you find in that short time and a plesaure see more speedrunners on this game.
At least here i dont have the floor of Bastion hahaha.

ImRuKus, that module is actually slower than the one gotten with the North OoB that Onin posted earlier. I had the same thought as you until he proved me wrong :v

Dang really? I literally only found 4 modules in the north zone, North zone was by far the most frustrating to me. The boss was pretty fun though. I'm going to try and do another quick play through today.

A quick kill for Frogger (eastern toad boss):

This strat uses a pistol animation cancel, wherein you shoot and immediately slash, optimally one frame later. Results in doing 2 damage each strike. Positioning for this version of the AI lock for Frogger was found by Onin.

Here is Onin's currently uncontested run, using what we think is probably one of the better routes we'll be able to do without finding new sequence breaks:

Feel free to use that as reference to get an idea of what the run looks like in its current form, and hopefully we can all collaborate to cut the time down even more!

Because none of them have canon names and on day 1 we were like "what should we call them" and someone said "Priscilla the Parrot" so that's what stuck lol

just chiming in for a quick tip as i love this game and would love to see a speedrun of it. At 18:57 you can take a shortcut by heading to the right behind the tent and dashing to the other side instead of going around. Smiley

EDIT: welp, page didn't update for me and i just saw nostradamon's runs with this shortcut already in it.

He's in the discord and participates in discussions and such but he just doesn't like submitting runs. He's usually in 1st or 2nd place though

You have to perform a dash-sit. Dash first, then press sit directly after. Good luck!

Crystal clips are still a thing. It's different from the dash-sit trick that makes you reach trigger zones.

Hi guys.

I see all the work you make finding stuff and is amazing.
Actually because myself cant stuck in something that can be fixed by any patch (the game is so new) today i make a route for ng any% glitchless runs.
I know you probably make one but anyway i make the mine.
I only want to inform you no for the validation of any category, i write this only for advice if you see me or someone run that category dont worry ^^.
Anyways thanks of the work and i will join the any% with glitcches probably when the game make 1 year old or like that (In that time probably testing things for come with some new glitch or stuff).
