if anyone ever speed runs donkey kong 64, there is a trick I remember when I got the game:
play as you would normally till you rescue lanky in angry aztec,beat the level and give the key to K. Lumsy, he will open up 2 levels, frantic factory and gloomy galleon,you can go to the gloomy galleon hub room(where you use your golden bannanas to get in the level)switch to lanky if you already odnt have him as your chaacter and press the attack button constantly around the sides of the block,if it works you will be pulled into gloomy galleon and you wont need to get the 30 gold bannans to get into the level originally.
