You do realize that's undefined for all x, not just as x -> -1
it seems the forum doesn't support nested quotes. Well, I'm referring to tagh_azog first lim function.
@laughing_gas: You are wrong. It's defined for all x. For x->1+ it's +infinity and for - it's -infinity. Derive says the same. Don't dare ever question derive. It's like saying Spider's run sucks in this thread
I could scare the poison out of a Bullsquid with my math.
Scary. I thought it would be cool to checkout Calculus this year (Grade 12), but then I realized that would be a grave miscalculation, no pun intended, so I heaved a great sigh, realizing I would never have to do another calculation in my entire life. Well, ok, I'm a tutor now for Math 20A students, but I'm not doing it for marks! MUHWAHAHA!
I give a great big "suck it" to Trigonometry, graphing, equations, linear and non-linear functions, tables, and anything having to do with Math.
One day e^x is walking along and 42 goes running by screaming, "There's a differential operator at the end of the street! If he catches me, I'll be nothing!" So e^x goes up to the operator and says, "I'm e^x. You can't do anything to me!" And the operator says, "Hi, I'm d/dy."
