For those of you who don't know it yet. Guilty Gear is a fighting game.
Since almost any kind of game is now accepted, so are fighting games.

Meh my original post was way to long, I'll try to keep it (very) short ^^.

So I got a speedrun of this game in arcade mode with Milia-Rage.
In all honestly I wanted to improve it more initially, but my sound card is failing and am too stupid to figure out how to record with the on-board sound card the pc has, plus the fact my controller is damaged big time thanks to my dedication to the Ganbare game.

So all in all I figured it would take a damn long time if I ever improved the current run I have.
I wanted it to look as pretty as the Castlevania fighting game run, but unfortunately I failed so far.

I have no idea if this game needs more luck manipulation or less because I've never played the castlevania game.

So now I've come to a point where I'm doubting if I should submit my current run, which is about 2:25 long (I really don't know how they'll time it so I just picked from start screen saying 'Let's Rock' till fade out of the last fighting battle.), or if I should just bail with the whole project (because I also got an on-board sound card my motivation to get a new sound card is 0).

So yeah, I thought let's just make a post and see if anyone cares. Tongue

Cool in-game picture to spice up the thread:

[edit]
Forgot some more info on the run Tongue
It's in Arcade mode (10 enemies, last 2 are fixed IIRC)
easy mode (beginner)
30 sec per round (although this really doesn't matter cause they're suppose to be long dead by then)
character used: Milia-Rage
1 round per enemy
and I screwed up/had bad luck in 2 rounds, costing about 5 or 6 seconds total I think (now that I'm typing it 5 seconds sound like nothing, but it looks pretty bad I think :(). Also had very good luck in 3 rounds saving about 1 or 2seconds.
Thread title:
I know this a game, I got it on an old computer to be able to play it with an old gamepad (using a game port!)
I like dynamic fights and cool visual effects
i'd be glad to see your un
I'd be interested in seeing this.
well I figured the least I could do is just dump it on my youtoop speedrunspam account (that i never use) Tongue

so here it is:

bare in mind I only wanted to do this as a tribute to the Guilty Gear franchise, not to how off skill or anything like that (obviously ^^).

Also, I first wanted to do the story mode and I think the enemies are actually easier there to get lucky on, but you've got 3 different story's per character depending on how you play against certain other enemies.
So I figured I'd save all that hassle and just went for the arcade mode. ^^
Procrastination Nation!
I'm a pretty big GG fan/player.

Even though an IK-spam run *is* the fastest, it is hardly entertaining.  Personally I think you should try doing a no IK run instead, as it would actually be difficult (though #ky is crazy S tier).

I also think if you're going to run a game do AC/AC+ on ps2 instead of PC, because (even though many DL members disagree) I find #reloaded GG to be pretty imba.

The fact easy mode characters seem to not be able to block also takes a bunch of the fun out.
I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
I dont understand, is this a windows xp pc game? you record the onboard sound card just like you do any other with fraps, and if you dont have fraps theres way to many programs to record the sound anyway. Double click your volume control and set recording and enable the mixer then fraps will take from there.
I watched it and yeah using IK spam isn't very entertaining but it's definitely very fast !
