This strat might also make driving easier. If you don't like what you see ahead, you can despawn the traffic. It can even despawn FBI cars that spawn in front of you at 5 stars. Like I said earlier, cars may also spawn in front of you when you do this strat. But you can expect that to happen and dodge in advance. Don't abuse this if you think you can dodge the traffic. After some more testing, I've found that you can keep despawning cars indefinitely. You have to use the camera that can see the farthest away(not cinematic). Then if you do the camera twitching at the correct angle and speed, cars will not spawn close. They will all spawn far enough away for you to despawn them. But this is very hard to do.

You might also want to look behind you a lot when you do this strat if you want to look for cars.
Hmmm. If it works on Police vehicles this can be excellent for Trucking 8
Sweet's Girl should be a good place to use the camera trick. It despawns the cars that prevent you from running the guys over. I saw Tirean had trouble with the mission. Instead of blaming RNG, you should despawn the cars so that they do not interfere with the mission. The greenwood shouldn't despawn because it is part of the mission.
The spawning and despawning of vehicles isn't consistent for me at all. So it would just be RNG if they despawn Cheesy

So apparently you can use the minigun for vertical bird. I don't know if this is faster as I have never been able to do this mission very well. So someone who is good at the mission will have to time the differences here.

Despawning seemed pretty consistent for me. Not 100% but it was close.

I retract my statement about inconsistency. Seems I been driving with wrong camera.. face palm moment Cheesy

Tested it on sweets girl. Seems to work just fine. Will remove a lot of the RNG from that mission now.

You also need to flick the camera hard enough so that it actually works. The camera trick will be inconsistent if you don't do that. Remember that you can only despawn cars that are far enough away.

BTW S, you can just shoot the plane in Stowaway while sliding out. It didn't work when you tried it because you didn't have a parachute. You don't have to shoot the guy to pass the mission if you have a parachute.  Just make sure that you jump out the plane quickly before it explodes.

With the new WSOTT strats, I imagine doing Tag 18 after WSOTT instead of some other mission would be best, since you can ramp up the ramp used for the old strats and take a shortcut right into that parking lot. Not sure if it is actually faster though. Havent tested it because Im too inconsistent at that jump.

If I can remember correctly, I don't have spray can in segment, which contains wsott. Btw, already did this tag in 3rd segment. It's going to be on YouTube in about 3 hours

Stowaway shot: A fail-safe way is to aim above the ramp at first holding the shoot button in advance and then when you are two steps to the exit you aggressively pull the mouse down. Well, it is only fail-safe if you concentrate. ^^

Saving them frames:
switching from satchels,molotovs,grenades after they left CJ's hand allows you to throw the next one (or start running) faster.

I do not have a video to compare the times, but I will just trust myself. Smiley I remember that you need a good (fast&precise) landing to match Cannibal's time, therefore it is not worth it.

I know its effectiveness is not always the same, in some areas I felt it just does not work.
The right angle is if you twitch the camera just as far that the cars are not on screen anymore? I tried it and still sometimes a car spawns near me.

House Party, 'dump on them fools part': When just immediately throwing one grenade in between the two cars, success was most likely for me. Then you run to the spot like in the video and after that (the cars still have not exploded :D) you look for people that could have ran far enough to survive the explosions of the cars and shoot at them.

By faster and easier do you mean it is more consistent for you to do faster. Or in ideal situations on both routes your route is faster? I am curious since I did some testing on those routes and never thought about using the train tracks.
both ways. its faster to slow down for a little time than to roam around all the area. In Running Dog, i can reach marker using tracks while CJ saying: ah smoke you full of shit, while using road only on next smoke phrase. i hope you understand what i mean

It should be possible in some places to keep on doing it forever, but that is extremely hard like I said. Doing it even a little bit too hard on one flick can cause a car to appear in front of you. Using the camera trick to despawn cars indefinitely is probably too impractical.

But you can still keep the road clear in front of you for quite a while if you get a good rhythm going. It is easier to do it when you're traveling as the same direction of the traffic. Going at a higher speed might also help. Doing it to oncoming traffic is harder.

There are some places you probably shouldn't use the camera trick, while it can be useful in other places. You should always be able to despawn cars. But you can't always guarantee that a car will not spawn close in front of you. You will learn when and where to use/not use the camera trick once you have become experienced with it.

I isolated the way spawn locations are determined in Vigilante, Paramedic and Firefighter from the mission script and simplified it a bit, here are the results:

Grats for the sub 6! Smiley The WR, while far away from the optimization level of the III&VC runs, seams way ahead of its time to me, it will be tough to beat. Just roughly three minutes of huge time losses (Green Goo and Los Desperados when he missed the homie jumping out right after Grove Streat) and, I feel, not many big mistakes (20s or so). So you will need a lot of practice or loads of luck or loads of attempts to beat it. Or maybe a bit of all, or ... bla bla bla ... Cheesy Whatever.

When following the reporter in Snail Trail, you cannot rely on the game telling you that you are too near. It maid Tirean and me fail once. It happened in the first 30s for both of us, so maybe that 'bug' only happens at the start. Just to be save in case it is not just at the start I would keep looking at the spook-o-meter for the whole following part.

This is at least 30 seconds faster than in the WR and over 1 minute faster than in Josh's recent sub 6. You should be able to do something like this for the territory near Grove Street and the very last one as well (Start heading towards your destination after the first wave/gang war trigger). Remember that Ballas drive Majestics and Tahomas.



Other Stuff
You can avoid killing the guys near the entrance and the guys on the bikes in Mountain Cloud Boys. Just run past them. You only have to kill the guys near the sniper.

You can save at least 10 seconds in Amphibious Assault with the helicopter if you manage to land it on the small platform with the ending marker. You have to park it perpendicular to the surface. The helicopter should be submerged in the water and on the the platform at the same time. After landing the helicopter, trigger the marker and get back inside. Use it to fly over to the start of Pier 69. This is difficult to do so I would not recommend doing it without practice.
