I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
I guess a good idea would be to get a sizable amount of oysters sometime before the mission with the lung capacity requirement.

If Daniel do SS and some other guy Segmented, would be cool. I would watch both.

Any progress? Are you still going for this?
I remember one thing that I found out when I played the single-player. If I would constantly enter and exit the shooting range minigame, I'd get more and more ammo in one of my guns. The ammo count eventually vanished completely. I don't know if this will be useful to you, but I just thought I'd share it.

Yes, thats very good trick, to get stocking for smg, pistol, shotty, AND machine gun ammo, one needs to do all challenges. It is good trick, but can it fit in 100% run somewhere? Only if you need massive firefight, and turf wars might just recuire it. Hmmm....

Yet another awesome trick, go get you ammo count to over 100.000 (IIRC), and save. You have infinite ammo! As long as you don't lose weapon, or replace with different ammo bearer, you can shoot as long as your right mouse button dies.

Sadly, I don't see if it can fit in speed run.

All turfs wars aren't required for 100%, only 25% of the turf wars need to need done to complete the storyline missions in the game. I don't think it's really a need.

Note: It only doubles your current ammo for those weapons, it could take a while to get to 100,000+ ammo.

Really? I thought that if you had gotten over 100,000 ammo for a weapon, it just doesn't display the number of ammo you have, but I'm not sure if saving can affect it.

I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
I wonder if Daniel realizes how high of a failure rate this kind of thing would have (and I'm not talking about falling asleep or forgetting what to do next or anything).

There are so many things required for 100% in this game it's mind-boggling, and it only takes one missed tag or oyster somewhere to fuck up your entire run.

Not necessarily. A bulletproof car can eliminate all of the ammo requirements for a turf war. Just start the war, get back into the car, and run everyone over. That only leaves the question: which bulletproof car? I would suggest the BP/FP Tahoma, as it's reasonably quick and easy to get, doesn't require a mission failiure, and will be right there in Los Santos when you'll need it. The BP/FP/EP/DP Sadler might also be a viable option, as it also is quick, easy, and doesn't require a mission failure, and it doesn't take that long to drive it from RS Haul to Santa Maria Beach.

Yes, excellent! I had forgotten about those cars! Cheesy
That would definately make the run more interesting. Even if it takes a while to get, it would be very nice.

Some take a really long time to get, and sometimes the garage eats them. I think it'll take slightly shorter to use a car, using drive-by them as well would cut the time down more.

Bullet proof car is awesome idea for turf wars!

I haven't tried BP cars, is car-eater-garage common? If its very rare, its good, but common glitch would greatly make run harder to plot, because cars go bye-bye....
But do you ever have to store the car if it's damage-proof?
I have found your stored cars disappear a lot, though that was before I patched my game. With the patch I have never lost a car.

My brother who has the ps2 version says he contently is losing cars.

I think we never saw a san andreas 100% ss run  :-/
Food goes in here
Man, I'd hate to be the one that has to verify this if and when it gets put on SDA.:P So who is running this now? Daniel? What time are you shooting for?

Heh, sorry for all the questions, it's been a while since I looked at this thread.
somwhere around 20-25 hours, isnt there a 7-hour limit on SDA? Sad

It's takes over 50 hours to get 100%.

Based off of my current game play; 50 hour is a fairly good estimate to how long it would take to SS this game.

If you have your heart set on SSing this game go for the minimalist run of it.
well, one day ill prove you all im wrong Cheesy
I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
I just looked at the huge 100% list and forgot half of the things on that list even existed, like bike school, Wang Auto missions, photo opportunities, the 8-track, courier mission, trucking missions, freight train driving...

It's insane, it really is.

You're going to prove us you're wrong? I believe your sentence should be like this: "Well, one day I'll prove to you all wrong".
