GTA SA 100% SINGLE-SEGMENT [Prac. videos inside]

Is this run really happening? Honestly, I don't even care if he makes several mistakes in his run. If he even manages to do this 100% single segment he will be a hero.

Hes gonna do a sub-8 any% first. Then he will do 100% SS, or any% sub-8 SS...

sub 8 SS is still near impossible. Though a sub 8 segmented is possible.

How big is a ss 100% run gonna be?
If it is a huge file, you need a torrent or so to download it...

Good luck with this run, i can't wait to see your attempts on the vehicle schools; i played this game simultaneously with 2 groups of friends, both attempting to achieve 100%., both groups giving up after spending hours on these repetitive and pretty pointless sections, the rewards are nice but in terms of what they "teach"... pointless.

As i remember it gold in all of the schools is required for 100%, so i wish you all the luck with gold on some of the driving school "lessons": alley oop, the shunt&stop with the cops cars and the two wheeler...

And in regards to other posters comments about money; he should have very little problems with cash once the 3 import/export boards, are completed. 350,000 cash from completing all 3 and between 8,000-100,000 for each vehicle, depending on its rarity and condition.

I do agree that the skills getting them to gold would take a GOOD amount of practise and knowledge how to do really well, of course a good amount of them require luck as well, i haven't gotten to 100% yet, but i could see the schools being something neglected to the end.

^ A bug called Stinks.

Only bronze is required on each test to get 100%. Gold is just to get certain vehicle spawns.

ah you sure? in that case thats nothing.

i still reckon it would take a good month to fully plan the whole route though.

eg doing a mission on the way back stopping to spray a few tags etc, the odd swim for oysters etc .. isn't there some thing about driving an ambulance or something to the airport gates to get in to maybe fly to cool places as well.

i think gold is required for 100%, it doesnt take that long time to get gold anyway..im kinda good at the schools and i think its better to get gold on car/flying school, that would give me faster "movement" otherwise, im not sure but i think you need gold

and about planning, im kinda slow on planning / gets boring so i think it will take more than one month, and it would be good to get a new computer in near future so i could get higher than..9-14 fps when recording

I have been replaying GTA:SA since just after this thread started. To get 100% it took me 43 hours, but I took over all terrorties and got all golds. Even with all of that you can shave the time down to 41.5 hours at lowest.

I had no route planning so I have no clue what time is possible; all I know is it is going to be impossible to do this single segemented.

daniel, if you are even semi serious you want to be more than "kinda good" at it, you need to know what is required, how you will tackle it and if/when things stuff up will you re-record or try again.

how far in will you go before you don't think "ah i need to just start over. i bet somewhere before 5 hours Tongue

also you really need to plan it well as once different cities are opened starting certain things will allow you to speed up the rest of it.

even if its just identifying things which will not effect the time if they are done at 15% complete or 95% complete.
i would never consider such a thing without a battle plan

well..i dont think its bad if i die..1 time or 2..its only 4-5 minutes but if i mess up too much, i will restart i mean 20-25 hours (or 30-40 like you all say) cant be perfect.. so i dont think 4-5 minutes will hurt much..just look bad

I'll make you a bet, if you can do this run by the end of March 2007 I'll pay you $50. However you can not you any glitch, fast forward "for example in end of the line, sweet drying; when you go back to restart the mission you to straight to the chase", cheat, trainer, teleporter, garage editor, or anything else that is done that was not ment to be the way Rockstar made the game. The time you have to make is under 25 hours. Since this is an SS run any pauseing voids the run, at least for this bet.

Your run must be posted by 2359 hrs in the United States central time zone. Being this is SS breaking the file up is not aloud but you can do a split archive that when I extract the file it well be assembled as one file. I need a file with sound and it needs to be a decent quality. This ones goes with out saying, no excelerating the files.

If you can not agree to these terms too bad, I'm the one making the bet, you don't have to take it.

i can do the run without planning and recording right now to win these 50$ so i have afford a new HD ^^

well..i dont think ill be done before march..i planned this almost a year now (well a half year i took a break) and only planned 7-10% im a slow planner..but i plan really good Tongue
