So Frok got Sonic Generations into SGDQ to make it one of three games into a very strong Sonic Block. Since flights are very expensive from Greece to Midwest US, I offered to help do a fundraiser marathon for him to get the money he needs to make it to SGDQ. The donations will be going to flight costs and anything over will go to help other runners make it to SGDQ.

This is a 2D puzzle platformer from the makers of Pokemon. The game is known for its great music, wacky boss fights and unique gameplay.
Played on NG+ so that the speedrun can skip cutscenes, a drill upgrade that lets you skip sections, and enough HP to damage boost through the entire game.

Description: My personal favorite of the advance series, featuring the partner system. Tag Actions, team variety, and level variety all make for a lot to commentate on and makes this a very complex yet still fast speedrun. Best Ending has more team variety and interesting routing than Any%, requiring collection of all the chao and chaos emeralds; however, it also requires watching the credits and going through autoscrollers. I strongly prefer to run Best Ending, though it can also be done as an extra incentive.

Category: Sonic/Blaze All Stages (can do Bid War)

Description: First of the rush series with boosting. This speedrun basically goes through each stage and boss through stage select. Sonic moves faster than Blaze, but Blaze has hovering and farther tricks, making the bid war a strong option. However, the bosses are notoriously luck-based and can lose several minutes, hence the generous time estimate. The earlier zones are also bland compared to the other rush games.

Description: Second of the rush series. This run goes through a full fresh game, uses both Sonic and Blaze, and has the most creative and coolest levels out of the rush games; however, this run also includes cutscenes and boat minigames, and is also the longest of the three rush games. Bosses are considerably less stupid than Rush's. All Emeralds works as a incentive and/or extra category to fill time if needed; it involves extra Johnny Races (aka fast), extra hidden islands, extra missions, and super sonic/blaze!

Description: Basically Sonic Rush 3, but with wisps and no tricks nor Blaze. This is the shortest of the rush trilogy, and has the popular sonic colors zones & music. This also has air boosting and stomping (neither in Rush nor Rush Adventure), making the game even faster-paced. Wisps add some variety in the movement. The bosses all have impressive quick kills that are reliable and not stupid like in Sonic Rush. However, this doesn't have a strong incentive that I have prepared.

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones

Description: Strategy speedrun that is completely RNG-manipulated, making it both not-luck based but also punishing if I make a mistake. It features abusing a few powerful characters, with a bit of variety here and there. I've routed this game myself personally so there's a lot to commentate on. This game has a route split partway through, where you pick one of the two main characters to follow; this involves a different set of chapters, and completely changes the route because of that. This makes for a strong bid war option between ephraim and eirika routes. ~~I'm also running this at RPGLB17 so this would be good marathon practice for me!!!~~

Half the game is spent Fred Dursting (i.e. rolling rolling rolling) around a lush and colorful landscape and traversing dungeons, while the next half you traverse through more dungeons but this time you're basically given Sonic's boost mode and it never runs out. Completing All Good Futures means using this game's time travel mechanics to travel back in time and breaking the generator in every level in order to get a good ending. There's also some cool strats done in order to travel through time that are not seen in Any%, such as using the Future sign to time travel and hitting a past sign right before time travelling (03:10) (06:20) and clipping through walls with time travel (21:14).
