I might join in at times, probably during games im familiar with. I will be trying to be around as much as possible anyways, cant promise much yet however. Also, I will need some sound recording setup then. Problem is that I cant really restream at a decent quality because my internet is bad...

I could help - my Internet is shit so i cant restream but the last 13 months i did nothing but watch speedruns of all kinds. Tried to speedrun myself but since i got a bad disease i cant hold a controller for a long period of time.

That means: Good at observation of Speedruns, a huge pool of knowledge when it comes to speedrunning in general, but never really tried it on my own.

I would be in as the "guy" at sports events Smiley

I have time and could adjust my sleeping schedule, wich means i could go around the clock at any given day. Also i have alot of knowledge when it comes to commentating for long periods of time. (used to co-commentate ~10 48h Marathon streams without any Problems.)
If some Graphics are needed for the German Restream i also could do that. But i dont really think other stuff than text is needed Smiley

I think this is a great idea, and if you guys can get enough restreamers and commentators organized, then I'll definitely whitelist you on twitch as a restream.

Just letting you guys know that we really appreciate the re-streams; the french re-stream was really awesome from what I've heard for AGDQ2013, and it's great to have support for other languages. I know it's a lot of work to maintain these re-streams, so I want to encourage you all and support you Smiley

I think getting enough Commentators isn't a big problem.
We need Restreamers for this times:

Monday 6 AM - 1 PM
Tuesday 6 AM - 1 PM
Wednesday 2 AM - 6 PM
Thursday 2 AM - 6 PM
Friday 2 AM - 6 PM

Just had a good Talk with exe!
Now that we have a stream up and running for 24h/d while AGDQ is running, we are still searching for commentators!

Also there is one important Topic me and exe talked about:

- Skype or Mumble?
I tend to use mumble just because a awesome and popular event like AGDQ is also full of trolls sometimes. When our stream gets more "popular" we have the issue that every person can find out a persons IP Adress and Open Port via the Skype name. Due to 90% of the germans not being able to change their IP's, i will gladly host a Mumble Server on my Root for this event.
This also should make it easier on the Restreamers to organize the commentators.

When you have a non cable internet access (normal DSL/VDSL etc), you'll just have to reset router/reconnect it to internet. With cable internet you are right, cable IPs are mainly fixxed for some weeks on your modem's MAC adress.
But setting up a mumble server could be a good alternative when there are more than you two guys who will restream.

@Yagamoth always thought your main language is french, because you somehow have a french accent on stream

Definitely go for mumble. Skype calls crash when the host goes offline due to internet issues, mumble servers automatically come back online. Thanks Akaikee, we will have a stable restream thanks to you! What channel will it be broadcasted to? A new one like AGDQ_Ger ? Would be best if Akaikee sets that one up. Make sure to add people who can edit stuff like stream title etc, else we might run into issues there. For organisation until then, use this thread or create a Skype group or sth? Would be easier if we need to discuss things...

We basiclly are going to redecorate exe_de's channel and host it there. So there is no hassle getting this channel into the SDA group and stuff like that. He is already in SDA and on SRL Frontpage.
We are still gathering alot of mods so we have a little bit of support if someone in chat goes crazy. I will look if i can either host a IRC Chatbot my self or get a proper one to lift some weight from the Mods.

If you want to commentate on the stream, just shoot me a message with your skype name and i will create a group were we can discuss things. If something important happens i will announce it in this thread.

Switzerland and Austria are fine - i think 98% of the germans can understand them Tongue

Thats one of the reasons i prefer mumble over Skype. Also my Mumble Server will be hosted on a professional administrated Root Server. There are already alot of Server running on there and we had DDoS issues in the past, but now we have a pretty good security system that prevents the server from going down. instead it goes basiclly into "lockdown" mode.
