German to the Past

I just picked up speedrunning. My game would be A Link to the Past. Since I started two weeks ago my estimate would still be 2:30:00. Is this to slow for your event? Also I am not 100% sure if I can make it, should I post anyway?

PS: I saw you playing on Mad Catz Unveiled in Cologne this summer. At this point I was not interested in speedrunning (still watched you play though). Now I feel like a fool not getting to talk to you Cheesy

You should practise for a while, there is still time to apply yourself to the event. If you feel more confident about your run you may apply a second time.

You will get a second chance at Gamefest man. Wink

Additional information: Not a speedrun. Ikaruga is a well known shoot em up and is a spectuclar, very entertaining game to watch due to its sheer difficulty. If neglected, I can switch to speedruns (Duke Nukem 64, Gunlord), but I'd definitely prefer to play Ikaruga.

The Star Wars Episode V table can also be played in the game Star Wars Pinball. No difference between the two games really. If you want to know more about how a speedrun of a Pinball game works I can answer all the questions you might have :). Let me just say it's pretty intense. Also I'm fairly active on the Zen forums so I might get some developers to come on a Skype call if that's an option for the marathon Wink
