Besides, a gaming female is definately a keeper, hardly a 'one night stand'. Edit: Then, as for the idea goes, that would be good, but how long would these events last?
Because just popping in with a random game monthly would kind of put a damper on some people, you can't just run through a game at any given time, you need to go through it 2 or 3 times [that's even a low number] to learn where certain things are, and learn shortcuts and tricks to get through it quicker, and that might be a hard thing to do in just a month?
yeh I like the idea, but I reckon it shouldn't just be any game, it should be something really obscene, even within a game. Like, ok.
Radix: This months 'challenge' people is to get do a speed run of how long it takes to deposit 5,000 rupee's in majora's mask. Or, beat a boss in the fastest time without using the <insert weapon here>
The prize is getting the recognition of being this month's champion...
And maybe even making a new section somewhere with all the runs from the monthly comps.
Dunno if Radix has the time to be bothered though...
I like what you've given as an example, something that is easy and rather hard at the same time, not a completely full-fledged run, but yet something layed off to the side that is nicely done in a month, good example.
That could very well be done, and I hope that this Radix fellow does decide to take this into consideration?
