http://www.amazon.com/Diamond-Multimedia-Capture-Device-VC500MAC/dp/B007QCIBX8 - This is the Mac OS X specific version of the VC500. I tried a little bit to get it working on Windows and had no luck. As far as I know, this piece of hardware only works on Mac OS X.
I'm selling my old Diamond VC500MAC capture card. It retails for about $40 so I'm willing to let it go for $20. It worked pretty well for me during my time using it (sample video: http://www.twitch.tv/jpnance/v/12780104). It gave me a little bit of trouble where I'd have to reinstall the drivers every so often but I think this was because I was using it on my work laptop and it wasn't playing 100% nicely with the corporate security settings. I've heard a number of other people who have never seen such issues. I'm selling it because I recently left that job and no longer have a Mac. The only other realistic option I've seen for capturing composite video to a Mac is the much higher cost Elgato card.
I'm happy to ship it out as long as the buyer covers the shipping cost.
Let me know if you're interested!
