Hello everyone! Baffan here, and I’m proud to announce the French Berets Marathon, scheduled from June 4th at 6 PM CET to June 8th!

Why “French Berets”? Because we, French runners, enjoy having fun on-stream with our own stereotypes. Fans of baguettes, berets or croissants? We’ve got you covered. If you’re lucky, you just might discover the true meaning of “le”. Of course the event will be French-speaking, but English is also welcome in chat.

We are also raising money to get to ESA. Any extra proceeds will be donated to French-related incentives at ESA. As our friends from Finnruns Marathon, you can submit your games, but only if you meet the criteria of being French and are able to speedrun. ~~We are accepting game submissions up to May 25th. The schedule will be released May 27th.~~ Planning is released and ne no longer accept submissions.

Oh yeah, sorry, of course they can! It is a false restriction of course, Gyoo and Xemorej are belgians for example. And we plan to do a lightly different overlay for them, for fun.
The only real restriction is the french-speaking thing because we want to joke about french things. Even french canadians can submit if they want, it will just be harder to do overlays. x)
But chat is allowed to speak english if they want of course, we don't want to private them to have fun because we do this for them too, to joke with us! And even to understand some secrets, like the meanings of the word "le"... Stay tuned! And thanks for the question ^^

French Berets HYPE! 8 hours remaining before the introduction, we are all excited!

I will be at Kanjo's place and we will both manage the event. Jolenou will be there for the introduction too. We planned a frenchy mini-show that will definitely (but it's on purpose) be "too much" but eh, we are here for fun!

There were 2 little changes those last days:
- Wizounet playing Dark Souls 2 was replaced by Zelkys playing Majora's Mask
- PillsOfDeath playing Okami HD was replaced by Vayarda playing Aquaria. This change can be cancelled if Pills can be there.

It's a first attempt for us, but we worked a lot and we are confident about what we prepared. Even if the event will be french-speaking, don't worry because the chat will be french and english!
