I'm addicted to games
Three of the topics in the main "other_games" forum just decided to lose their view count and reset to zero. This also caused the last poster visible to be 'n/a'. I fixed the n/a by posting in the topic and then deleting the post...

Hopefully it was something that'll never happen again, but if you see anything biazarre let me know. (Edit: I found the reason... it shouldn't happen again)

On another note, I'm sure you saw that stubz rearranged the forum a bit, putting quake stuff at the bottom. Well I don't really like the way the way the 'games' section that he renamed it to is layed out ;-) I was thinking that it would be best of instead of a "general" and a "tricks" board, which nobody seems to know which is best to post in, we should have a board for PC game runs (except quake) and another for all consoles + handhelds.  Then the tech suppor forum. So the number of forums remains the same.

I dont want to have one forum for each system, nes, snes etc because that's too many darn forums to check. But I think that just having one, with another one that nobody knows when to post in, isn't very good. Better to split it into two distinct categories.

Thoughts appreciated...

I was quite happy to see the forum change to reflect the new site structure, seems better organized now. Thanks stubby.

Now you just need a good structure on the "other games"-section to near perfection. Wink
PC Games/Console Games sounds like a reasonable split-up to me, although the Tech Support-forum might share the same fate as the Trick-Forum - some people will start tech support threads in PC Games or Console games anyway, or add their questions to existing topics.
I didn't count the number of topics for the games, but a further split-up in "2d console games" and "3d console games" could be practical to evenly distribute the number of topics.

Since most people use the "Speedruns" forum and not the "Tricks and General Discussion," I agree with changing T&GD to PC Games and changing "Speedruns" to Console Games. People won't have to look back and fourth to find what they need. The "Speedruns" forum is pretty much used for trick discussion anyway. As long as no forums are added I'll be pleased either way though. I hate going to forums where there are 50 boards to look through  :-/
