Problem with SS is that from Garuda on, the bosses start getting very luck based in their attacks(3 per round, on some).

The Cave of Shadows boss, Doga, and Unei all went down in one round on the first try, but it may get harder in the Crystal Tower.

First play-through had a final save outside the Crystal Tower at 5:10.

After tweaking some things, the second run has a final save of 4:27.

I think there are probably another 20-30 minutes of time to be saved here, but this game is so boring. Don't know if I'm eager for that kind of punishment.

It looks like Super_Marpgio isn't working on this run anymore, (Correct me if I'm wrong.) so I may take over this one.

Well, I guess you can take over whenever you want. I haven't touched the game in a long time. I basically just made a strategy as I went on, I never planned much beforehand. Like I wouldn't know the minimum level to beat a certain boss, so I'd wait until I could figure it out to plan beyond that point. I just lost interest ever since I got to the last part of the game, which just consists of levelling up high enough to beat CoD.

Right now I don't have access to my game file, so I can't check to see what time I have. At this point I really didn't have much of a strategy, but if someone could figure out what the minimum level is to beat the CoD then I might get back into this. I'm just not sure how high to level (that takes lots of time) but don't have a good strategy to beat it at my current level.

So wait, you're outside Crystal Tower at 4:27? Are you able to beat the final bosses? I'm going just by my memory right now, but I think I was at about 5 hours in here. I can't remember the levels I was at either. By either Sunday or Monday I'll have access to my FF3DS again, so that's when I'll tell you the details.

So really, I'm glad that we got this run down to 4:27.
This is motivating me to get out my FF3DS again, so I might figure something out. Good luck!

Yep, I have a final save outside the tower at 4:27. I was working on a strategy for the last tower, because my plan for the rest of the game just won't work there. However, it got old fast. I haven't touched the game in 2 weeks or so.

Oh, cool. What level are you at?

I just checked my data, and here's my last save:
5:02, just after getting the Invincible, level 21/22/21/22.
I'm definitely too slow right now, so I might just restart (but keep this just incase. I may find something useful from it).

Now I'm getting back into running this. At this point we need a good endgame strategy. I could experiment with my current save to find a good strategy, then restart and try it all in one go. I guess from here it's just trial and error until we get a good setup for the final dungeon.

That makes me wonder if we even need to beat Titan to get the last few jobs. I think we'll need Ninja or Devout, but maybe if we find a good combination we could save some time there.
I want to speedrun FF III for Ds but i really need some help on things like what jobs to have (i have all red mages but i dont think that will work) what levels to be and spells to use. please help i'd appreciate it
I want off the ride....
