Execute.
Its attack power is number of escapes/2 up to a maximum of 127 yes.
Obscure games ftw
Mine's at power 33 or somewhere around there, so ~180 escapes...fun, that'll take about 2 hours due to no instant flee commands.

Quote from I have no name:
I looked at your highlights, and your World 2 Exdeath wasn't foolproof since he can Vacuum Wave+Attack in the 2nd phase, and that would have pasted Bartz.  It was definitely a good strategy, better than what I had for my first fight (but stacking Image, and Shell on people is lol during that fight, and I won easily 2nd try).

Didn't say it was foolproof...

World 2 Exdeath is a pain. LIke there is nothing you can do about Condemn unless you have Chemist, so the general strat (at least in solos) is DPS to his second phase wearing a Wall Ring and have him kill himself. I did have four Wall Rings which would've been more see, but I decided to fight him with only one because why not?
HELLO!
Gargoyles nearly ruined my run. Fortunately the combination of geomancer poison gas, and white magic berserk, was able to tame their super healing in order to let me pull off a win.

But lacking stuff like black magic and summoning makes that a real challenge.
Execute.
Biggest hurdle for my run has been Crystals in Moore Forest so far. Just kept dying, grinded a bit, then realized it was probbaly just my strat that was ass backwards and beat it first post-grind try. But hey, some extra levels never hurt.

First off, Archeodemon is down as described in my last post. Really though, just watch about the first 7-8 minutes and then the last 7-8 minutes. More importantly, Superboss #3 has fallen!!

You know this guy? Ordinarily, Gogo is a gimmick fight which ends by itself if you play his game of mimicry. But if you don't...well, just watch the video. It's certainly one of the more unique fights in the game, to say the least. But it's worth it. I mean, you get to MURDER a MIME!!! And Cutezerker actually gets to play a role! What's there not to love about it?! Cheesy

If you're not sure what's going on, I first Wonder Rod Shell. I go in with Burt with the highest Magic Defense possible (the GBA bonus dungeon's Royal Crown and Robe of Lords) as well as the Hermes Sandles. This reduces the damage from Meteor dramatically. Krile has the Chicken Knife, Ice Shield, Power Sash, and Hyper Wrist (another GBA item which boosts weapon attack by 10 and Strength by 5). Slutzerker is a Zombie to draw hits and reflect spells early on, and Faris is just there to revive Krile and also reflect spells. Gogo flips when he reaches 33000HP or less, and having him reflect a spell onto himself takes him to around 30000 - without him countering. The rest is just Meteor luck...which happened to come pretty quickly.
Fucking Weeaboo
I beat Shinryu! I've got basically nothing to handle Omega, outside of praying that a thundaga spellbladed Chicken Knife/Sasuke's Knife combo both hit and that Omega doesn't immediately try to KO me with 16 attacks in a row. Oh well. It was a fun fiesta, but I'm done for this year.
HELLO!
#VictoryOmega

http://www.twitch.tv/presjpolk/c/2519090

This took a bunch of tries.  About every other attempt was a first turn total party kill. Only with shell could 3 of my 4 members withstand a fire attack (dancer's generally toast either way, it seems).  Basically I had one path to victory, and it involved lots of dancing with swords.

I'm so glad if he had to circle someone, it was my 25%er Knight and not my 50% (lamia tiara) Dancer....
Fucking Weeaboo
Congrats dude. I don't know why Omega is attacking me so much and not you. Because they changed it between SFC and GBA versions?
YOU DARE NOT.
Finally finished my first run.  Hooray.

Omega...ugh.  Trying to get a decent pattern on him took forever, and trying to finish that pattern was even worse.  Barely squeaked this one out:

Learned my lesson with Shinryu...remembered he was weak to Berserk and Blind (thank you Chemist, and no...no Kiss of Blessing glitch...):

Exdeath?  Easy.  Neo Exdeath?  Cause of much cursing/resetting.  Finally got this:

Just getting enough damage output with my party (BM/RM/Geo/Chemist) was a pain.  Surprisingly, only broke two rods during the entire run.  On to the No750 challenge now.
Obscure games ftw
Rather than re-type a bunch of information from a different forum, I'll just link my post.

Suffice to say, #victory, #victoryOmega, #victoryShinryu.

HELLO!
"Get a turn, get a turn, get a turn.." Smiley Nice.

Ehh, I'll just edit this post.

#VictoryShinryu was no problem. Only took 2 tries since the first try I accidentally berserked Kururu instead of Shinryu.  Thanks to Emptyeye's chat for pointing out Blink is White magic, not Time magic as I assumed it was!

#Victory was also no problem. I'm told I did Neoexdeath in about the worst possible way, killing one piece at a time, leaving a last piece at full heath, but having 3 people with White magic, and lots of Ethers, I got by.

What a fun challenge. So glad I did it.  Helps I love this game so much as it is.

Final party:

WARNING! BERSERK FAIRY ALERT.

Attachment:
I am in to my second run, with bluemage/mysticknight/bard/dancer. Compared to my first run with whitemage/berserker/ranger/chemist, things were moving along smoothly.......until the crystals boss. Big thanks to duckfist for letting me know that the crystals could be hit with death claw. sad part is death call has horrible hit chance. somehow i got the good rng. can't wait till i get mighty guard.
Professional Second Banana
And Omega, Shinryu, and Exdeath have been felled in 1 swoop, thanks to the supreme brokenness that is Bard!

HELLO!
Watching Omega:

Love the giant jug of water you have. Smiley  I might steal that idea for longer streams.  Also, good thing songs don't use MP!  That slow buildup, so slow but clearly effective.

Watching Shinryu:

Pre-blinked, berserk.  And wow that's a lot of Gil for all those Phoenix Downs...  Wait, you're equipping an item to get blink in-battle?  Interesting. And you *had* the haste shoes but didn't have them on?  Well done, well done.  Nice how he finally started hitting not-Rena there.

Exdeath:

Wow that speed.  And power. 7500 bare handed? heh. Well, Gill Toss was nice while it lasted. Smiley

I low how you weren't optimized for two of the three battles. Nice work, nice work.
SDA Speedruns: 1
I too have now completed this challenge. Actually first time I finished the entire game as well lol.  Party was Blue Mage, Mystic Knight, Bard, Dancer.  Bard is so helpful, blue mage is very op and dancer can just damage everything so quickly,

Ended up having levels 35, 37, 37, 38 on my 4 characters.

I'm assuming Mirage Vest is being reset with the equipping and "throwing" the masamune causes haste
HELLO!
Yeah using the Masamune causes haste, I knew that.  But that's really neat that you can put on and take off an armor and get an effect from it.  I didn't realize there was a vest that did that. I guess I need to look it up next time if I don't have white magic. Smiley
So, about halfway through World 2, I kinda gave up on my run. Having 3 physical classes + White Mage is realllllly boring. :/

Yeah had I realized at the time what a Team 750 run really meant, I'd have done one. I like the magic classes. Smiley

I don't have any money to spare for that, as much as I'd like to.
We all scream for Eyes Cream
Currently on my stream file, I have just hit World 3 with a team of Thief/Berserker/Bard/White Mage. At the moment I am at 86 Deaths and 5 Game Overs. I've already played through parts of it on my leisure file and know the Fork Tower is gonna suck, but I don't need to do it since I have a Staff of Light(Holy when used). But I want the sub anyway so I'm doing it, but at least Omniscient won't be annoying to fight(My Leisure file had to use Reflect Rings to weaken him a bit, then Berserk so I could deal some damage to him, then use the Magic Lamp for the last 6000 HP).

Can't wait to get to the Void for Shinryu and Omega.
Obscure games ftw
My 2nd run is coming along nicely, Thief/Summoner/Ninja so far.  Abusing the Throw/Steal glitch to get 99 (or more) of an item is really broken-99 Elixirs probably was never intended :V  I've wiped twice, once to Shiva when I went in with 4 Thieves wielding Daggers just to see if I could (before I knew I had Summoner lol) and the other time to Byblos when he Drained Galuf and Wind Slashed after I'd queued up all attacks so I was left with Reina at 23 HP...yeah that wasn't going to end well.  Won 2nd try with a Flame Scroll though.
