I thought (And actually did it myself) key-glitching the final boss caused the game to crash? how does the TAS get to the ending in that case?

I've tried it dozens of times and it does work. You can see the ending as long as you don't get stuck in the house. If you get stuck in the house the game crashes. In the other TAS in 23 minutes the final boss is glitched and the game freezes.  It does work just keep trying.

The savestate right before the wall glitch took over 2000 attempts. It was 100x more difficult than defeating the UFO C.P.U.
