I was planning on doing a speed run of this game and was just wondering if the following two categories will be ok to use for the runs.

1) Any %: Getting to rank 1 by beating Evander Holyfield and getting the end screen of being the champion.

2) 100%: Getting to rank 1 by beating Evander Holyfield, getting the "Greatest" title by beating Evander's total earnings of $50 mil and retiring with 40 matches.

Only 2 real catergories I can think of, so would love to hear feedback on it. Thanks!

I don't know the game, but did a quick search on the internet. I couldn't find any traces of other people speedrunning this game, but there is the full tas playthrough that I quickly scanned through. I agree that your two category definitions make sense, since you get two different endings.
(The 100% looks pretty repetitive and not particularly interesting to me though, but that's a different story...)

Alright, sounds good. Thanks for the swift response. The full tas playthrough is basically the 100% run and yea, I know it's not really all that interesting either, but was just a thought of a category.

EHRDB was a fun game back in the day. I would definitely like to see a run and what strategies are used to make the game faster. It's not like MTPO which can also be considered sort of a puzzle game. I look forward to seeing a run.
