invisible war : I would run only this game if no one is running this game so that all Deus Ex games can be shown. Tongue

Director's Cut is in the end the same like Human Revolution only that you could say that it is an updated version of the old Human Revolution.
The difference here is that you will have The missing link included which was an addon to HR and that there are some bug fixes, we as speedrunnser can't really find,
in the end it is still broken like HR. Smiley
In my Director's Cut run I executed the HR part very precise but TML was a bit unknown to me to that point so I lost 10minutes there which I can change already by practice ( It is just 15min more to the original game).

1. Jak 3 - Any%
Estimate: 1:00:00
Personal best: 42:29 [WR]
Console: PS2 PAL
This game has gotten way more broken! From last year the record has went down by 15 minutes because of new tricks. Last year before the Jak block started we had about 6k of viewers, and at the end of my Jak 3 run we raised that viewer count by 1/3, to 9k. This game has everything you need in a good speedgame. Skippable cutscenes, tons of glitches, non stop action and strats left and right, great music, and of course the games' community got really big last month, so there are still 1-5 second time savers being found everywhere.

2. Jak 3 - All Missions
Estimate: 3:40:00
Personal best: 3:22:24 [WR]
Console: PS2 PAL
All missions doesn't have as many glitches as any% and is a full game run. Still pretty fun to watch and does bring back a lot of memories from missions people couldn't beat.

3. Jak II: Renegade - Any%
Estimate: 1:40:00
Personal best: 1:21:07 WR: 1:18:57
Console: PS2 PAL
My game froze last year, so i figured i should suggest this game again. This game catches the viewers eyes straight from the start. The first 15 minutes of the run is glitch heaven. This is generally a really hard game, so watching someone beat the missions people struggled with as a kid, looks impressive.

1. Spyro - Year of The Dragon - 117%
Estimate: 4:20:00 (WR is 3:38:34 by ssbmstuff www.twitch.tv/ssbmstuff/c/3180364 WR video)
Personal best: 4:46:22 (Planning on getting close to 4 hours before ESA.)
Console: PS1 (I run it on NTSC-U PS2.)

117% is quite an enjoyable category as you will see how all levels are done 100%. (Compared to any% and 100 egg.) I think it's well worth the time, even though it's a long category.
The category itself doesn't have huge skips, but I do minor skips, to save a bit of time.
While my time is not best right now, I plan on improving it, and should eventually be able to get it below 4 hours.
I have shown potential for that in my streams. There's barely any RNG, and the things that have RNG is barely any timewaste.

Seeing as there was done a 100 egg race at AGDQ I think it would be awesome to show this category off at ESA. Smiley

Also a donation incentive can be done for language of the game, or for the colour of Spyro aswell.

1. Star Wars: Dark Forces - Beat the Game (Easy) (aka any%)
Estimate: 00:28:00
Personal best: 23:42 22.59
Console: PC (DOSBox)

It's fast. Real fast. Doom-copy shooter in a vivid licenced universe. Getting a good time relies on executing quick, accurate movement with difficult damage boosting required to skip big areas in levels. Would fit in well in either an old school shooter or Star Wars block. There's a big 'WOW' factor for anyone watching who played the game back when it came out - blind the levels and puzzles can take hours of retries to solve.

I've been playing since spring so am confident at the game and can work some interesting commentary around the gameplay Smiley

Mega Man Unlimited - any%
Estimate: 50:00
PB: 37:57 (WR)
Console: PC

MMU is a fairly well known fangame in the speedrunning community, and is both quite a great one at that and an impressive speedrun. I've pioneered a lot of the game, and am still going strong. I would love to get this into a marathon, but am in kind of a tricky situation: because of Finnish military service, chances are I won't be able to go, but we'll know what happens when March comes around.

MMU has the reputation of being a very hard game, but as the speedrun illustrates learning to use special weapons turns you into an absolute murder machine. The run itself is still tough, though it doesn't really have any truly extreme tricks. There are some neat zips and a couple instakills (which were actually implemented back after being fixed in a special speedrun version!!), and the action is just generally very tight.

1. Hotline Miami - New game+ All Levels/Any% New Game+
Estimate: 00:30:00
Personal Best: 31:50
Console: PC
I've been playing a bit of Hotline Miami, but am unable to run it regularly and improve my times due to university studies. My best time isn't that great and can easily be improved upon to sub-30. I could play Any% New Game+, which is basically the same thing only it skips all the cutscenes and between levels crap, although I haven't done a run of it so far. I do not have a run recorded either.

2. Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! - Insane difficulty
Estimate: 1:00:00
Personal Best: 55:00
Console:Nintendo DS
When I saw that you wanted to include more rhythm-based games in the roster, I immediately thought about Ouendan. It's not exactly a game you can speedrun, as each stage has a set length, but I hope that watching someone complete all songs on Insane difficulty might still be attractive. Update: I have performed a playthrough, and it lasted in the ranges of 55 minutes. As long as I don't fail a level (which is possible, marathon luck) it shouldn't take more than 1:00:00.

3. Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 - Insane difficulty
Estimate: No idea as of yet
Personal Best: No run performed
Console:Nintendo DS
Same deal as with Ouendan 1. All songs on Insane.

4. Rhythm Heaven Fever
Estimate: No idea as of yet
Personal Best: No run performed
Console:Nintendo Wii
Another rhythm game which is basically "Clear all songs". I do not have access to my Wii at the moment so I cannot perform a run, but I will be able to in about two weeks.
Scratch this, not a good idea after all.

NOTE: I do not possess any capture device for Nintendo DS.

Bomberman 64 is super-cool. any% has awesome tricks, and is nicely condensed into a short run. My current best run on Normal mode is the record, and is up on SDA for viewing. Watch it. Do it now.

2. Deus Ex - any% (Realistic)
Estimate: 50:00
Personal best: 41:42
Console: PC
Deus Ex. Probably one of the best PC games. There is almost no down-time in the entire run, it is fast-paced, action packed, and full of ridiculous jumping and flying about and explosions. What more can you want. A little more time could be added to estimate to make way for ugh PC setup etc.

3. Sonic CD - any% (Sonic or Tails)
Estimate: 30:00
Personal best: 19:5x
Console: Steam/XBLA
SANIC FAST. CD is still one of the rarer Sonic games to see at a marathon, but is just as, if not faster, than its Genesis siblings. I demand JP soundtrack for this run.

2. Super Mario 64 - 1-Star (0-Star try)
Estimate: 15:00
Personal best: 0-Star = 9:30; 1-Star = 9:36 (it was in a race against Paradox Karl so this time is bad; i normally don't care about 1-Star but will improve this in the next weeks)

I see that Paradox Karl also request for this categorie. A race would be very cool, but if this is not possible, he can take this run ^^

1. Crash Twinsanity - 100% Race w/PeteThePlayer
Estimate: 1:45:00
Personal Best: 1:37:37
Console: PS2 PAL
100% category isn't that broken as Any% but there are still a lot of cool glicthes and skips. It's much more entertaining than Any% where you basically skip everything. Here you can't skip levels because you have to collect every gem in the game. The only skips we use are skipping bosses and some cutscenes.

2. Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters - Any%
Estimate: 1:40:00
Personal Best: 1:26:28(WR)
Console: PS2 NTSC-U
Ratchet & Clank is a very popular series but it has not a lot of speedrunners. This game is a little bit different from the original series it even has a different villain even though that heroes are the same however it has cool movement and skips. Different kind of weapons. Route is crazy and also this game is really skill based because later in the game almost every enemy will kill you from 2-3 hits. However, I think this will be a good addition to Ratchet & Clank block Link to PB: http://www.twitch.tv/smartkin/c/3680453

1. Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil - Any% w/ Popka
Personal best: 2:13 (will explain in comments)
Estimate: 2:05:00
Best Known Time: Sort of unknown, but around 1:58:xx I believe
Console: PS2 PAL
Comment: PB was done on emulator which is buggy and a lot slower (also why there is no PB video - no capture card yet). I have the actual game and will practice on it for ESA. My execution is better than most console runners so I think I can pull it off well. The game is a 2D puzzle-platformer with fun mechanics and levels. I'll be using 2 controllers for some tricks and controlling the 2nd one with my feet, so that should be interesting at a marathon. The game series has a following and Klonoa 2 runs are a rare sight that I'm sure a lot of people would love to see.

2. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed - World Tour any%
PB/WR: 1:29:10
Estimate: 1:50:00
Console: Primarily PC (can do PS3 as well if that's easier to set up)
Comment: A relatively new Sonic racing game, quite popular for casual play. Not many speedruns have been done, mostly because it's quite RNG heavy and has no big tricks. Still fun to watch as there's a lot of variety with the world tour tracks. Just good driving and fun tracks. Can also do silly multiplayer stuff for the 2nd stream if that needs filling up. Besides, it's Sonic in a car going fast so you can go fast while you go fast. How is that not perfect for speedrunning? Estimate is relatively high due to RNG.

3. Hello Kitty Roller Rescue any%
PB/WR: 40:25
Estimate: 45:00
Console: PS2/GameCube (still deciding that, should be no time difference anyway) PAL
Comment: It's Hello Kitty. How can you possibly go wrong with that? Again, no big tricks or glitches but a fun run anyway. Perfect for the 2nd stream during graveyard shifts. A fun and colorful game which doesn't take too long either. Not the most serious run, but it's quite optimized.

Estimate: 25:00
Personal best: 12:37 (Cerberusguns 18:59)
Console: Wii VC (NTSC-U)
Fun and fast-paced run and race. Good balance of execution, consistency and to an extent some luck with getting easier character matchups in the harder matches.

2. Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour - All courses RTA
Estimate: 1:35:00
Personal best: 1:23:27 (Twitch ate the video, sorry)
Console: Gamecube/Wii (NTSC-U)
Traditionally, runs of this game are done in the speed golf mode on single courses using the in-game timer. This category aims to finish all 7 courses in as little real time as possible. This puts a real emphasis on knowing the courses well enough to avoid hazards and get ideal positioning for each shot while spending as little time as possible lining them up and trying not to leave anything to luck.

A classic game and no doubt a fun one to run, currently practicing this and I can see people remembering this golden oldie, hopefully it will get the attention it deserves!

Personal best: 33:34

Made by the fine gents over at Double Fine, this is a game like no other were you play a young russian stacking doll, your mission is to save everyone from the evil guy by stacking into other dolls, some of which have different abilities whom allow you to solve things in many ways.

1. Super Mario World 2 Yoshi's Island any% warpless
Estimate: 2:00:00
Personal best: 1:51:00
Console: Super Famicom
Japanese version, race with aedelz, intheflesh93 and steady! Warpless is not my main category to run but the best for races. We are probably all on the same skilllevel and it's guaranteed to be a close race.

The others said most things already. Yoshi's Island is an awesome and fast speedrun with a lot of swag.

The warps category has some neat tricks but it is mostly the same as warpless. Maybe 5min showoff for levelbreaking tongueglitch trick could be fun.

1. Final Fantasy IX - Any%
Estimate: 10:00:00
Personal best: 9:43:44
Console: Playstation 2 Slim - NTSC
What much is there to say about this game? One of the best Final Fantasies in the Playstation series and a lot of peoples favorite. Not many sequence breaks or glitches, but a very route optimizing game with quite a few high points as well as low points for viewers.. Not to mention the nostalgia feels (You are not alone anyone?) My current PB is naff imo, but just waiting for that perfect RNG run and time to get it sub 9:30 which is defo in reach.

2. Light Crusader - Any%
Estimate: 01:15:00
Personal best: 1:09:43
Console: Sega Megadrive/Genesis or Steam
A action platform puzzler..? I have found no sequence breaks or glitches in this game unfortunately, maybe if I focused more on it I may find some. I estimate I can cut this run down to sub 1 hour in time. Current PB is on the Steam version, I have a Megadrive PAL version but may look into getting the Genesis.

3. Dark Cloud 2/Chronicle - Any%
Estimate: 07:00:00?
Personal best: No PB yet.
Console: Playstation 2 Slim, NTSC
Not to sure about this game, it may be a bit boring for viewers? Altho when streaming this game I have had quite a bit of interest. So far I have only got about routing the game and have not really had time to focus on getting a good PB. Slight RNG for a few important items and the level keys.. but other than that a pretty basic no glitch/skip run.

4. Mega Man X2 - Any%
Estimate: 00:45:00?
Personal best: 46:02.43
Console: SNES? Currently dont own, might look into getting one.
Its Megaman, not much to explain here! xP Not the most popular one tho I believe, but still a fun action packed run with quite a few tricks to show off. My PB is currently bad, but if I focused fully on it I could possibly get competitive runs out of it.

1. InFlux - Any%
Estimate: 20:00

Good fast paced game with an interesting variety of glitches to break it. There are 18 puzzles in the game, I enter 2 and complete 1.

2. Jet Set Radio - 100%
Estimate: 1:30:00
Personal best: 1:17:52
Console: PC, Might look into 360 Arcade copy for stability
Me and Anees finished reworking some of the levels recently and hoping to push this category a lot further. This is a much more intense run then the any% and is basically pure execution. (Plus as a donation incentive I could get Potts afterwards which would probably be another 25 mins of the any% route)

3. Noitu Love 2: Devolution - Hard any%
Estimate: 30:00
Personal best: 23:27

Would need to retrain myself to the game as its been awhile but its a really good fun game, I would probably try to do this on Hardest instead of Hard too which shouldn't add much time just be more difficult

4. Legend of Princess - any%

Estimate: 1:40:00
Personal best: 1:35:38

Return of the awesomely broken platformer. This category is like the MST of this game basically forcing you enter each level and show how each of them are even more broken then that any% route. The estimate is close to my PB because I have since changed the route and it will be much faster but I have not completed a run due to being distracted by other games (Breaking, routing or running).

I'm sorry as well I told some people last year that I would have Body Harvest marathon ready by next ESA and I just couldn't make it happen Sad

1. Rayman Origins - Any% (no coop glitch)
Estimate: 2:10:00
Personal best: 1:58:29 (WR)
Console: PC
Very enjoyable speedgame in my opinion. It's a very high paced platformer, with really nice tricks. Easy to watch, it's really intense because death is really close everywhere. Every level includes a very precise collection of coins, and speedrunners made very tight route, getting the precise count or as close as possible everywhere.

2. Rayman Legends - Any%
Estimate: 01:45:00
Personal best: 1:40:00
Console: PC
Almost the same thing as Rayman Origins, it's its sequel, released in 2013. It's a very fun game, as tight as Origins, but it makes 2nd in this list because I'm not as good as other people. Although I'm going to grind for WR soon.
Link : www.youtube.com/watch?v=9t_KcwQEOg4 that's my bad run. I recommend twitch.tv/fearfulferret to see a very good run.

3. Rayman Origins - Stupid% (aka any% with coop glitches)
Estimate: 01:00:00
Personal best: 52:53 (WR)
Console: PC
A very stupid glitch broke rayman origins. It's not that interesting of a run, including 128deaths, but I'm very proud of my pb, I love this game, and I really want it in a marathon. SpikeVegeta made a coop run for funsies during SGDQ2013 and I really think a real run could have awesome entertainment value during this ESA

1. Ratchet & Clank - All Gold Bolts & Skill Points (All GBSP)
Estimate: 02:30:00
Personal best: 02:30:29 (WR)
Console: PS2
All GBSP may seem like a silly category at first but it is recognized as an official category by the R&C community. All GBSP has most of the glitches used in new game Any% and many more! All GBSP will get a major re-routing soon possibly cutting the time down to 2:10 or below but I am currently busy competing for the ng+ WR so that will probably happen in a month or so.

[if Linkinito comes]
1. Ratchet & Clank - Any% race with Linkinito
Estimate: 01:00:00
Personal best: 00:58:16 (WR)
Console: PS3
Quote from Linkinito:
Ratchet & Clank is a classic of the PS2 and a very nice game to speedrun, involving tons of tricks and OOB glitches. It mostly relies on two tricks:
- Slope-intercepting (or SI): Doing high jumps on slopes that normally make you slip, allowing to reach places completely out of bounds and allowing to skip entire levels.
- Ghost Ratchet: Using the Swingshot to get out of a killing mud completely screws the physics of the game, and permits to go through walls.

The PS3 PAL HD version has a trick up its sleeve motivating the use of this particular version: the Pyrocitor glitch which can BBQ the final boss in a matter of seconds. A boss which is still considered as one of the hardest bosses in the entire series, 11 years after its original release.

2. Gothic - Any% No Major Skips
Estimate: Not sure yet, most likely less than 2 hours.
Personal best: No personal best yet.
Console: PC
When it comes to awesome glitches, this cult classic game has them from the get go and all throughout! I choose the no major skips category for a longer lasting experience and a bigger showcase of glitches.
Due to technical issues, I am unable to post progress at this time but I will try and post progress as soon as I can.

Just a fun thing I thought I would do to demonstrate some of the glitches not seen in newgame Any% or All GBSP and how little of the game you need to do in order complete it. I'm not desperate to get this one into the schedule.

Estimate: 1:50:00
Personal best: 1:35:36 (played on emu, getting a working console again soon) [WR: 1:31:56]
Console: PS1 version played on PS2
I think this game will be a great watch with all the new strats that were found in the past weeks. The most boring bossfight (Mr. Stone) is now really exciting to watch for example. I was disappointed about AGDQ having no Rayman on stream (only at bonus), and i guess it would be cool to have some Rayman on official marathon schedule at ESA. YEAH!

2. Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage - 14 talisman (former any%) or 100%
Estimate: 00:40:00 or 2:25:00
Personal best: 30:35 or 2:19:23
WR: 27:50 or 1:58:45
Console: PS1 played on PS2
Offering the game i started speedrunning with. You see a lot of out of bounds stuff and other cool things like swim in air. Depending on category also the new gulp skip. I'd prefer doing 14 talisman over 100% cause I'm more comfortable with this run. Maybe a donation incentive for any% (which is kind of a bossrush). I will go for 28 minutes on 14 talisman and around 2:05:00 for 100% if this gets through the cuts. (Both of my PB's are pretty old and very improvable)

3. Spongebob Squarepants: SuperSponge - any%
Estimate: 0:40:00
Personal best: 28:33 (WR)
Console: PS1 played on PS2
This game has a lot of damage boosting in there and is actually a neat platformer, no matter what people say. There's also a few more strats that are not in this run cause they were found afterwards, it is improvable by a few minutes i guess. Could be something for the second stream if it's not fitting into the main stream.

4. Disney's Hercules: Action Game - any% medium difficulty
Estimate: 0:40:00
Personal best: none yet [WR: 32:56]

I could imagine learning this game and race it together with Jazzy and Pete if possible (and if they want). Played it in my childhood so it shouldn't be too hard to get into it.

After all, I'm not 100% sure to be able to go to ESA but i really wanna make it happen.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess [gamecube version]
Estimate: 3:30:00
Personal Best: 3:18:46 (Zaf1re), 3:14:59 (Rodner)
Console: Wii
This game has a lot of interesting sequence breaks and hard tricks, some that are frame perfect and only a few pixels. I think this run is really entertaining to watch with the weird glitches and crazy jumps by using the boomerang. A race of this would be really interesting since there aren't a lot of setups and what not for all the tricks. Due to the lack of setups, the variety in trick execution is interesting. Since it's still a while until ESA starts, our times will be a lot closer.

2. Ultimate Flash Sonic
Estimate: 00:07:00
Personal Best: 00:04:49

This game is short, broken, bad, silly and fast. Since the game is so short, it can fit in pretty much anywhere on the schedule. This is a pretty silly speedrun, but hey, it's a Sonic game, how bad can it be?
